I’m pretty sure I’m addicted to it, I’ve tried stoping multiple times, I just can’t seem to do it.

it has effected my sex life with my partner, I have difficulty finishing when we have sex,

this is my main reason for wanting to stop,

Any ideas on how I can deal with my current situation?

I’m not sure if you ask for an answer for your headline or an advice how to do it.

If it is worth it depends on your personal situation. You have a partner and you say it impacts you. How do you feel with this and how does your partner feel? If both of you are fine that you don’t finish and it doesn’t impact your desire for having sex, then one could say it is not worth it.

As soon as one of you two suffers from that situation, I would say it is worth it to think about a solution. Quitting P can be one of them.

Maybe you can share a little bit more about how you and your partner feels with this.

She doesn’t like it because it makes her feel like she’s not good enough, I feel horrible about it. I just wish this addiction was more easier to get ride of.

I quitted weed when I wanted.. I struggled even physically while quitting tobacco and heavy drug.... I'm 100% clear and 200% addicted to wellness and fitness but I still fight this addiction since 4/5 years... It is difficult I know, but it is a must-quit one. Inform your self about how much you are demaging your brain and how bad it does impact on your whole life

I think what makes it so difficult is the fact that there is no physical and financial limitation. (I know. in extreme cases there are such limits)

In theory you can consume porn 24/7. You only need internet access. If you smoked cigarettes without breaks 24 hours per day, you would quickly notice it on your bank account. The amount of alcohol you can drink is limited because sooner or later you will pass out or even worse. You might die from it. Same for heroin, and other well known drugs.

With porn you only need to put so much effort into your life that you can afford the rent for an apartment, internet access and some food. The rest of your time can be spent in porn without reaching a dosis which will either kill your bank account or yourself.

So it doesn’t feel dangerous. It just feels inconvenient with all the drawbacks it brings. I think that is the reason why it is so difficult to overcome.

  6. Out of PMO, stopping P should be your number 1 priority. It's literally poison for the brain.

Yes, it’s worth it. You feel completely free. Don’t look at any of it.

I agree. And I think because it is so convenient, coupled with the tricks that the brain plays thinking that we have "passed on our genes while getting off to P, many people don't classify it as an addiction.

But I also agree with what Alleman said. It may be worth it to me, but whether it is worth it to you depends on your situation. It sounds like you may benefit from it. If she doesn't like when you don't finish, it may be worth it to give it a try to see if it makes a difference. You've made 127 days so far! That's very impressive! But do you not feel a difference?

Totally agree. That's why video games industry now focus on creating addiction to the game. In future once time payment offline video games will die. I miss so much the old shared screen offline matches with my friends.. Old good games in old good time... I feel so old already XD

My brain has been asking me the same thing since last night. I'm sure that the more I deprive my brain of that dopamine fix, the harder it'll try to plant such doubts. Hang in there!

Eventually you hit flatline and don’t have any interest in seeking it out.

I feel games now are bred for addiction in a sense the whole trophy/achievement thing, the add-on DLC the like...loot boxes all that...absolutely bred for addiction but there's steps you can take to combat it and games in general aren't AS harmful as porn...

Everyone is being treated fairly in that industry number one, no exploitation like in porn, its also "legit" kids are playing it, everyone can play, its also a multi-billion dollar industry

One turn off the damn achievement/trophy notifications and just don't even check the lists play as you'd like that's where the addiction stems from the damn trophies and achievements which are meaningless
