Is the hard-mode necessary?

It's not necessary, the main point of NoFap in my opinion is to rid yourself of porn addiction/use, as well as masturbation. It's all about becoming a better and healthier person in mind and body. Remember, PMO is a symptom of an issue, not the cause. If you feel like sex isn't holding you back or making you a worse person in any way then you don't have to do hard mode.

Infact, one of my main aims though doing NoFap actually is to get laid and get a girlfriend for the first time!!

I think for some of us, particularly those that are married, abstaining completely from sex could be very harmful to our relationships with our spouses.

 

Yup, we don't respect women as much as we should. I know for a fact that I don't.

 

I think it would be ok to have sex from time to time, and still reboot, it will just take longer.
Internet Porn is harmful because we do it loads and edge to it. Sex is different as you are hardly at the "edge" Of cumming for hours at a time.

You will still be training your brain not to look at porn and PMO.

Saying that if i had a girlfriend at the time of a reboot i would have asked to take a month out from sex. for hard mode then gone onto soft mode

 

i think that if you have ED or PIED you should o HARDMODE.
