After one gets 5-7 days into nofap, there is suddenly “eye candy” all over the place: I’m not talking about on the internet, but real life humans out in public. For example, my neighbor was outside today, and because I’m 5 days into hard mode, I definitely noticed her. I found myself doing quick looks at her 4-5 times until I made myself stop and went for a drive in my car...I did not get an erection or anything...but two questions:

    1. Does ogling a girl a little bit release dopamine in the brain and set back recovery?

    2. Does my story above count as a relapse in anyway?

    Thanks.

No its not a relapse. Just stay away from PMO.

  3. Wow the 7th day you are making great progress, keep at it.

Abstinence from orgasming lets the testosterone peak During the 7th day about 140%ish so you’ll feel more masculine, because you also quit porn, you’ll be more curious about women, but trust me the Symptoms of the abstinence frôm porn usually start right after the 7 days so be prepared for those and good luck on your journey :)

And what are the symptoms from abstinence? You mean withdrawal symptoms?

I never really felt withdrawal. If you read more on this topic they symptoms are called "super powers" the temporary increase in testosterone makes you feel very strong. These are wonderful symptoms. When the streak gets longer you may feel a drop in energy as your body adjusts to producing less testosterone cause it no longer needs to keep replenishing semen like it used to when you were binging on PMO. This period is also temporary but it is a period where you are at risk for relapse.

  6. Basically some people like me on my first streak, had flashbacks about porn the second week, then for about 10 days i experienced lack if sleep and insomnia and i thought about porn a lot but also because i had lots of energy, then i experienced anger but could also be interpreted as male drive, the drive to do something with your life, i didn’t channel it very well in first few days, now i realize its enough to put it in use on your life purpose whatever that may be, hobbies studies, basically something you want out of life.
