Is this how I get "me" back?

  1. I'm at a point where PMOing has me for the most part desensitized to normal things in life and anxious about a great many normal things. I'm not as deep into or as knowledgeable about life as I used to be.

If I went months without PMOing is it possible that my passion will resurface and I'll have a better sense of what I want to do with my life? Will I know my role? Most importantly, will I have a true identity?

There's only one way to find out. Remember, the human body is a resilient vessel. That includes the brain. You'd be amazed at the recoveries it can make, no matter what depths you've found yourself in.

Well, all I can say is my sensitivity has increased vastly in my measly few weeks of abstinence. To the point of buying a couple of potted plants, beautifying my living space, buying a lamp, and chasing any girl that makes the mistake of smiling at me.

  5. Possible, and probable. For me, PMO took up a good part of my life, hours at a time. Cutting that out left me space to develop skills that I really care about.

It's not automatic. You might not discover what you want in life just because you stop watching porn. It still takes work to figure that out, but the fact that you're even trying says a lot about the effort you're willing to put forth.
