It doesn't really matter, does it?

For the past two days, I've really instilled the idea that our mind is what we make of it and that we have complete control over our own actions. Because of this, I think I finally found a cure for my addiction, and as a reward, I started playing video games again. I quit video games a year ago, and haven't played any since, but since overwatch 2 came out, I decided to try it and use it as positive reinforcement for myself. I've been playing as Reinhardt and getting pretty good for my 3 hours in the game.
After I finished playing my " 1 hour " of video games per day, I realized something, colossal. I watched this short troy cinematic, in which Achilles wanted to set his name in stone more than anything else. And I believe that that is the natural masculine drive, to want to put your mark on the world, to be GREAT, to be REMEMBERED.
Any action besides that which doesn't push you toward your goal in a clear and definite way, and does not directly correlate with your purpose, is USELESS. Rest excluded. But, there is also a fine line between rest and sloth, sloth is using rest as an excuse, and actual rest is needed rest.
So all the countless hours spent on video games, on YouTube, on shallow work, on porn, contribute NOTHING to your goals. A man needs to truly live aligned with his goals, and every action he takes needs to be WITH REASON.

Hello brother. Sorry for the late response. For the past couple of days, I have been focused on working and have forgotten about my little blog here. That is a great question! My purpose is to save lives. Is to be the one that dives into hell and saves people with a smile on my face. So, I'm currently studying hard to get into med school. Although, I HATE the excellent rep that doctors have for the wrong reasons in my country. It INFURIATES me when I hear people say things like "But yeah, he's a DOCTOR" or "look, he's a DOCTOR". It's a hard path, and I see many of my peers go through this path, for one thing, and one thing only... MONEY.
I'm already making quite a bit of money from a side hustle of mine, soon to go toe to toe with some of the modern doctor salaries from
where I'm from. It's PATHETIC when I hear stuff like that and I also despise the "typical" zombie lifestyle that is associated with med school, but sadly it is true for the majority of people that choose this path. Not me though, to answer your question completely, it's not just a possibility that I will achieve this goal, but it's a MUST. Why? because it's not my main goal. This is tied to the fact that I want to raise a strong family, and for that, I will do ANYTHING to be able to support them and give them a good role model, whilst also contributing a lot to society as well.
