  2. depends if you went there to look and quickly close (also known as peeking) or if you wanted to P but went back at the last moment

Not a relapse.. it was tempting you but at least you know you are trying to avoid it.. it’s your brain that is tricking you.. don’t worry to much just keep going with your streak!

I would still say you are still highly addictive. I would say you are heading towards a relapse if you feel you have. Alternatively give yourself to reset again. If you do this again out of urge you have definitely relapse for the third time..

I'd say its a relapse, your not going to recover if you keep peaking. That's just my opinion though.

I'm new here but I have some experience with this.

Is it a relapse? what you're describing is a typical start of a relapse, it starts with peeking, then watching for longer and longer periods... touching... edging... until it's "oh well, whatever...".

I don't want to use too much religious terminology, or try to sound overly scientific on the other hand, but basically the more you give into lust and feed it, the stronger it becomes, you reinforce that neurocircuitry every time you watch porn or even fantasize about sex.

You might think this is restrictive, but I think that's a misconception. I don't want to turn this reply into an essay, but first, instead of thinking about what you "give up" by not watching porn, think of it as an opportunity to turn your attention to things that will improve your life and help you become a better and stronger person, or rather, uncover what you're like (and what life is like) when you don't waste your attention, energy and manhood on meaningless, transient, vacuous and ultimately unsatisfactory sensory pleasure (now that's a mouthful...).

The problem with PMO is that since so many people do it, we got the idea it's normal, but it's really the epitome of an 'instant gratification' abuse of our physiology, very much like drugs... the antithesis of discipline and decency, making our fellow human beings into mere objects for vacuous instant gratification instead of connecting emotionally like were meant to.

Hopefully on a decent streak (after many failures in my case), to feel what it's like to connect with other humans (especially women), and see porn for what it is... vain, childish, stupid shit... strongly reaffirms the notion that 'sexual energy' or 'libido' is meant to be in servitude of love, compassion and creativity.

The terms "NoFap" or "semen retention" are insufficient in this regard, it should be called allowing yourself to be a man and taking control of your physiology. A man who casually spills his seed (or otherwise gives into lust) would be the male equivalent of a promiscuous woman.

That's a pretty long rant, hope it's useful.
