i am new to this site.
i am a girl . age 18.
i think i watch a lot of porn to be considered normal. when i am not watching porn i am reading really vulgare kind of fanfics. i tend to touch myself for long durations. i am just scared now.
i have an very important examination upcoming and i have been simply unable to focus at all. i dont know how i will be able to do this anymore. i was a very bright student i had a lot of hope but i think i just wasted my past few very important months masturbating and watching porn.
i have no hope of passing out anymore. And i dont understand what to do.
 
Welcome to the site, first thing to do is quit pmo for good, that is short for porn, masturbation, orgasm, the reboot process will take you about 3 good months, depending on your level of addiction maybe more. Second thing is to get rid of any porn related items you may have, you will find on here that everyone is doing more than just that, things like cold showers, meditation, healthy eating, nofap is all about constant self improvement, if you have questions let me know.
 
If and when you're losing hope, don't. There is hope. You aren't weaker than porn, but I think we can all agree that it is super addictive.

One of the things that has helped me the most is to educate myself about the dangers associated with repeated porn viewing and masturbation. The scariest thing about it, is that porn addiction can actually shrink cerebral grey matter, the stuff brain cells use to communicate. Which sorta makes it alzheimers for beginners. It's just incredibly destructive. The dopamine flood caused by porn viewing, like a tsunami, destroys everything in its path. It just has this effect on people, they become silent, withdrawn, and nothing seems to be able to move them anymore, aside from porn.

Insight into how porn addiction works is paramount if you want to actually conquer it. Like a jedi, you will need to learn every little detail about your enemy there is to learn, before you'll be able to finally destroy it.

Don't do it. It won't be worth it. Find something to distract yourself until the craving goes away. The first step is learning to fight temptation, then comes solving what you are covering up with the temptation

I believe you should create a to do list and keep your mind busy, don't go to bed early, only when you are feeling really tired without your cellphone. You gotta do this girl, or nobody is gonna do that for you. That's the hard truth, but hey... believe in yourself, you got this.
 
Remember, every choice you make against porn, strengthens your resolve, and brings you closer to freedom. I don't know if you are Christian, but the Bible has some good advice:

"Flee temptation" physically get away from it.

" Do not turn to the right or left from the path of righteousness" focus on what you want. Do not look to temptation on either side, but transfix on your goal straight ahead.

Keep your head level and your eyes straight ahead. You can make it out of this.
