    In this culture, abstaining from PMO can be a lonely thing. It has become so normalized that people who don't do it are the ones who are left out. It should be the other way around. It might just be me, but abstaining is kind of a lonely thing.
    At least in my case, not many people I know know that I'm trying to abstain. Part of me I guess wants recognition from people in my immediate life, but the other part of me knows that I don't need it to succeed. This community is great and everything, don't get me wrong, but at the end of the day, I'm not going to meet up with one of you at a coffee shop and talk about how bad PMO is (though I'd be game for that 100%, I'm from St. Paul MN, US if anyone's around me).
    I guess its just a hard route to travel alone. I know that I'm not alone thanks to this awesome community, but it's different from talking face to face with someone about it I guess. Do people understand that?
    It makes me want to take a bigger, more public stand against porn and it's effects. Not really sure how to do that.

    Yeah I dont think men will really ever talk about this face to face, forming groups like AA meetings. Its kinda wierd to be talking about your mens issues downstairs with other men. But online it works because were anonymous.

    Porn really is a sexual health hazard. You dont clue in and realise it until when trying to have sex with real women and can't get it up, but can when looking at porn tube sites. Eventually you put two an two together.

    In my opinion, pmo is definitely one of the tools used by the global elites to keep people dumb, uninformed, ineffective, and submissive. Brain fog from porn and masturbation do exactly all those things. You don't feel like doing much of anything but sleeping after a huge pmo binge.

    I agree with everyone who says this is for you & you don't need recognition but at the same time it wouldn't kill to get some. Doing NoFap makes a guy feel like a Mac in a PC factory smh.
