Wow, I rarely waste my time with looking at social media at different types of women out there. It's like I do not have a life and I always think about how sad my life is. Sorry but this is how I would feel if I was doing that. I stay busy with my life goals and I do everything on a regular basis. To be fit and in shape everyone needs to have a balance in life.

This is not the topic of the thread, but I disagree. The numbers in the Netherlands are very uncertain, but I am pretty sure that over half of the prostitutes in Amsterdam are forced to do the work they do. You might know this already, but pimps often tell their prostitutes that if they leave the business, they'll get their sister or someone else dear to them to replace them. And this isn't even always an empty threat: it does happen that prostitutes do manage to quit, and the pimp gets their sister. As it's so shady, it's very hard to measure, but 10-90% of prostitutes are forced to do what they do by someone else (so not monetary constraints, but threats and the like). I except that number to be way closer to 90% than to 10% in reality, but even if it's 10% it's hundreds of women abused against their will, in Amsterdam alone.

 

Instead of viewing them as "low quality", and I'm not making any claims about their "quality" as human beings, try to view them as Dizzy has pointed out, victims. Even if they are completely willing to do the "work" they do, I bet their childhood wasn't the best to end up doing such stuff. So in a way they are victims of bad parenting. Now if you tell me you know a hooker who had a great upbringing and a healthy development into a mature, responsible adult, I would have to say rare case.

And you answered your own question, the title of this thread, towards the end of your post. You don't value doing this, so the logical answer would be no it is not ok as it isn't in line with your values.

 

Well if disagreeing on the internet about sex worker terminology gets to help those prostitute sisters or gets you to feel good 10-90% of the time thats fine by me.
