It's scary how easily anyone can access your android phone if you lose it.

Once in safe mode, the third-party lock screen will be disabled. From here you can clear the password or uninstall the app. Restart your device again and you should be able to access your home screen without entering a passcode.

This is a complete joke. Some security. So if you have an android phone and you lose it literally anyone who knows how to boot it into safe mode can access all your personal info, texts, phone numbers, calls, photos, videos, apps, internet history.

    Surely this can't be correct?

  5. Maybe you can turn off safe mode when rooting the phone.

  6. It's the same with iPhone too, I had an iPhone at home that I hadn't used in a while and I had forgotten the password and apple ID to it. I was able to get into it using a USB cord and a computer. Literally took me like 10 minutes to get into it.
