I've been here 5 months and my greatest achievment has been 14 days. Is it that bad?

I really feel like I could have done and do much more and the thought of failing is torturing me.

Nah you have done good. I was here about three years ago.

Just keep getting back on the train.

    try different techniques.

Mine is currently targeting one at a time, and it seems to be going okay

All I can add is reflect on what happened every time you relapse/start a streak.

So with your last few relapses:
    Why did it happen?
    What were the triggers?

    For this streak:
How will you avoid those triggers?
Should you add or remove certain habits in your daily routine? (this one is big)

Don't give up. Something this challenging must have a pretty awesome reward at the end of it :)

Home alone, nothing to do, bored and depressed as fuck. Nothing much else.

  11. That's the only I've done as well and it was 2 years ago, almost 3 years this January. Now I'm back. lol and just this year's february I tried to go nofap as well but didn't work :( only 2 days.

Honestly, in my opinion. It isn't that bad, one of my motivation that makes me want to keep doing it even though I fail is every time I fail, I learn of the things that triggers me so next time I could avoid them.

You decide what is failure and what is victory. From my personal experience, my first 2 streaks were consistent, as I only started P for 2 years and wanted to stop. But in the long run, I've needed 2-3 years almost to fully grant freedom from this addiction. If you want a verdict, as long as you're still bound to pornography, it's a loss in my opinion. Go get your streak and remain on it. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.

I started coming here in July of 2016 - I started with a streak of almost three weeks and since then it's been a constant struggle, until recently. Today is Day #29 for me and I really feel like this time is different, and this could be the start of a different lifestyle for me. I don't know exactly what changed this recent time, but I finally got sick enough of what I had been doing for so many years that the efforts to stop have finally started to stick. So don't give up. You know that you want to stop this crap, and that you have to. You just have to stay committed and keep working at it. One thing is for sure - coming here everyday helps a lot. So make it a habit.

I can relate, boredom and being on the computer or alone is a recipe for relapse. Force yourself to do something though and at least the boredom will go away. Your emotions will be up and down but that's the addiction mainly.

Getting some exercise will jolt your brain out of first gear. Next do some mundane jobs around the house, clean your room etc.

After that write down some goals, short term like what to do tomorrow, next month, and so on. Take it one step at a time!
