New Fapstronaut
Hello I have been using porn extensively for the past ten years. I want to kick that addiction to the curb. I am employed I go to college and I live in Calif. I have never in my 24 years of existence had a girlfriend. I am still a virgin but not to my left hand. This year Is looking up but porn is bring me down. I want to quit so I can experience more of life. I do not feel like I have lived yet. I have tried to quit on my on but the urges and triggers are everywhere. And my mind likes to play this game where if Google "triggers words" for example, like "hot blonde gets" or "cute girl gets" the preceding to go to the videos page on Google. To look for any possible triggers. I'll do this several times a day until I'm alone and the fap.
I have caught my self doing this many times. My brain thinks there is no harm in a little tease. Oh but there is trust me that leads to pmo. I'll go into my addiction story later.

Good morning brother,
I am glad you are here. You are taking the right steps by signing up to this site. Beating this addiction cannot be done on our own. Isolation is the enemy. The addiction living in your mind will try to keep you isolated. Stay connected. Together we are stronger. Your future is very bright. As your mind heals the possibilities will be endless. However, the road to recovery requires patience. Be patient with yourself and know that you need to learn a whole new way of thinking. The truth is that you need to get into action and do a few things. I would suggest that first, cut off the addictions food supply and starve it out. Your mind will return to normal over time. Second, be proactive and build healthy thoughts and a healthy ifestyle. Do this by being connected, engage in fellowship, share how your doing, find an accountability partner, set some goals, build a vision. Finally, humble yourself and open yourself to trusting God to help you get through this.
