Deleting them was hard for me but i got over 1TB free :D

Interesting point about it staying in your head for a while. For me, the actual memories of the porn scenes pretty much faded away in about a week. Now I never think about it.

Today I'm celebrating one month PM clean and I don't know if it would have been possible if I kept all of that porn.

Awesome job @IamMike! Even before NoFap and knowing that porn was as destructive to us that it is, I would constantly delete my videos and destroy my dvds out of the shame of having them, only to re-buy or download them again and again and again... You would have thought eventually it would have clicked somewhere during this time that I was addicted to this crap!

Deleting anything you have and not going back to it is one of the best feelings in the world as well as not having to hide your "stash" anymore.

For me, other than a few vivid memories of scenes I would gravitate towards compared to others, all memories of them have left my head.

Also, congrats on the one month!

Thanks man! Yeah.. the risk is always there. But it is key to banish the idea out of your mind by fundamentally accepting that you are no longer the type of person who uses/downloads that stuff. Also, these days we live in a world of big data and pretty much everything you do with a PC is logged and stored somewhere. The peace of mind of no longer leaving an online audit trail is enough for me to stay away.

I just deleted all my accounts too. I was hoarding videos a multiple go to accounts. It is a BIG motivator because it takes too much time to re find all those specific videos for excitement. Im hoping i wont be motivated to FAP because i wont have the time to devote to watching "P". I have roomies and i began to hate them because they would never leave so that i could just PMO for hours i was so stressed and frustrated. The organization of these videos was unreal so many folders, and titles this part of my life was more organized than anything else in my life. If i dedicated the amount of energy towards any other skill i would be a professional at that skill. It got to the point where i knew actors names, what cities they lived in, even got a phone number, sent direct messages to them, they became friends in my head. I could name 100's of performers. Started to imagine very risky behavior and feeling extremely jealous that i wasn't living the life they lived. But i can fully relate to the feeling of deleting your stash. Its scary, but liberating. This is day 1 for me and i fear of my relapse or what the withdraw will feel like, this has been my crutch and i had a routine and schedule that im afraid how i will feel when i don't have P to turn to during these times.

Memories are also triggers. I have flashbacks everywhere i go of videos and actors. I began to think people on the street where performers and the most graphic images run through my head its disturbing. Now that ive deleted these acounts i can not turn to these videos. I had gradually deleted acoounts and i remeber when i deleted my tumblr i did not crave it. Tumblr has a specific genre, its more of a social aspect and primarily photos. Once i deleted my tumblr i started forget about all the images on that site. So i see the same result happening from my other accounts.

And also this makes the fear that someone who is using your computer or phone see this stuff disappear.

  11. I just got rid of a bunch of trigger crap (porn and other stuff) recently. The way I think about : I am not giving something up - i am freeing myself from something keeping me down!

Well done! It's like a monkey on your back which you have thrown away. No matter how hard it may seem, its funny how that simple act makes you breath with simple relief.

No matter how difficult it may seem sometimes. life is BETTER and you know it with no porn, or compulsive and energy sapping preocupations that take you nowhere. Porn feeds off you destructively and negatively. How many times have I done what you have, only to let that trash clutter up my life once more!

I'm aiming to enjoy sex but only with my sweetheart, not as some closet, seperate and seedy hidden something...

Points 1/-2/-and 3/and 4/.............I'm pleased for you and totally agree!

Breathe again with a sigh of relief and kick that monkey where it hurts and where it belongs....Into your history, not your bright and positive future.

Well done mate, i'm with you all the way!

I just deleted all my problematic apps:- Tumblr, tinder, Pof etc. I'm also wanting to deactivate my FB as I've had enough of it. I went clean of FB for 18 months once before but I remember feeling so out of the loop with social events that are going on in my circles.

Deleting and deactivating everything seems to be the way to go. I deactivated the web browser on my phone. If that's not gonna cut it, I'm smashing my smartphone and going back to a dumb phone. Those things, like Facebook, etc, were just a waste of time anyways. Nothing was accomplished on there.
