    This is my first post.

Found Nofap last week and am unbeleivably grateful. Made 14 days no PMO today.

My history - Struggled with porn early when my friends found a garbage bag full of pornography in an empty lot. My father had it too, and I always had access to it growing up. Discovered internet pornography in October of '99. I'm now 47. Lots of wasted potential and lots of wasted time.
A week and a half ago, I discovered Nofap and I have been seriously engaging the resources. I downloaded the app and keep hitting emergency, even though I am not necessarily in an emergency situation. The reddit blogs, the videos and the quotes have been transforming my outlook.

Everything that I have been reading and hearing, regarding positive changes - is true. Mental clarity, self confidence with women, feeling GREAT about myself - it's true. Someone asked me how I was doing yesterday and I replied "I'm awesome" and I meant it. I surprised myself when i said it. The power of this online community is impressive.
I know that I'm new to this community but I also know that I need to engage this community in order to progress forward. So this is me engaging.

    Day 17

    Yes - thanks for asking.

I want to hit 90 days. No PMO. Then continue no PMO. Keeping focus on 90 for now.

    exercising every other day.

DAILY - Reading posts, responding to another fapstronaut through a post, and initiating a post daily in journal.

  4. Hi @LifeWorthLiving , Welcome to NoFap!

I would recommend you to create your own "Emergency Toolbox" with readings that can be handy to read when you start feeling urges to screw up.
I can share this post with you with my own Emergency Toolbox, it helped me a lot during the first few months, i had them in my cell and read them every time I started falling down:

I wrote some tips in this post that perhaps will help you too:

You can watch some interesting videos which are also very helpful in this post:

I also suggest you to read "Breaking the Cycle" by George Collins, it is a must-read if you are serious about getting rid of this addiction.

Last but not least, I would strongly recommend you to take the NoFap Academy course if you can afford it. The course is great but the best value are the weekly video calls with @alexander (the creator of NoFap and NoFap Academy) and Mark Queppet, where you can chat with them in real life and listen to other guys's stories and problems too.

I hope that all this helps you to fight this shitty addiction.
