just quit masterbation, I can't sleep

  1. I feel tension building up and i am tired and could not sleep much the last few nights, any remedies to this, since I need to be well rested for my job? also i am quitting coffee now to so it is double hard. I wake up about 3 hours earlier then i usual, how long does this last? also I feel different because i am so used to relieving my self in a negative way. and feel yucky even though i quit the habit. and I feel stressed out from not doing it.

    Try sport (1) and meditation/other activites to get rid of stress (2).
    As far as I can remember I had no problems with sleepping even though I have been masturbating multiple times a day for almost 10 years before I started to nofap challenge for the very first time 99days ago !

    1 : You'll be tired at the end of the day, but just at the end. While I was fapping I was always tired everyday, at everytime, and when it was time to sleep I wasn't tired enough to sleep. When I started sport I was feeling cool everytime and when it was time to sleep I was tired as hell, perfect.

    2 : You're probably tired because of stress I guess. Even though sport is a nice way to get rid of stress, it's not enough sometimes and other activites like meditation could be helpful.
     
  4. yes I just reliized that when I can't sleep I have to have plan for what i will do, because the first few nights of nofap I tended to lean toward my old habits when I could not sleep, I have to stay of the computer when I cant sleep also, because thats where temptation is!!!

    hey bro.. this is the main reason why i started nofap because its been months since i had a good night sleep and every time i go to work i always feel tired and lethargic.... i found that PMO before you sleep at night + stressors is the main culprit... its been 16 days now and my old sleeping pattern( good night sleep) is slowly coming back... here are some few tips that might or might not help you.. but what are you going to lose if you try?

    1. get a good night hot shower before bed.
    2. drink warm milk.
    3. set a cozy atmosphere in your bed room(quiet and clean)
    4. relaxation exercises ( deep breathing, visualization of a peaceful place, meditation)
    5. cutting out caffein, stoping or lessening smoking, cutting day napping.
    6. setting a regular sleeping time
    7. boosting melatonin production at night ( melatonin supplementation )
    8. release all your problems when you step in side your room/ go to bed.

    There's an app I use called MUJI to sleep. It helps me quite a bit. Try it out. It's free on the Google play store.
