Keep Fighting

Your NoFap Journey is like a long boxing match between yourself and porn addiction. Every day is like a new round, filled with endless punches and pain throughout your body. Some rounds you will feel confident and land a few punches on your addiction, while in others, not so much. Some days are just too overwhelming, and you give in to the temptation and fall. But you don’t surrender. You are stronger than that. You get back up, ready to fight another round.



You keep going because you know that if you give up, you will never be the person you dream of being. You fight through the pain, challenging it even. “Come get me! You will never win because when you knock me down, I’ll drag my ass up again.” And you continue doing this, day after day, round after round.



Then there comes that moment. You hear the bell ringing, signaling that the fight is over. The deafening sound of cheering quickly follows. In a daze, you look down at your opponent, laying on the floor knocked out cold. YOU did it, you won.



Many years down the line, you will look back at this boxing match fondly. You will remember all the blood, sweat, tears, and excruciating pain that came with it, but you are grateful for it. You are glad that your porn addiction knocked you down a few times because when that happened, it made you feel so much more powerful when you got back up again. You don’t dwell on that memory for too long, however, because you have a new match to fight in. Another opportunity to improve yourself and to become a stronger and better person.
