"Layers" of addiction

    Hello everyone, it's been a while without posting. I would like to share my experience with the reboot process. At the moment I'm in my day 71 without porn, which is such a blessing. I'm in a better mood generally speaking, and this is not only according to my perception, but to others' as well.

    The thing is, I have masturbated several times during this period, maybe four or five times. My goal is to just orgasm having sex with my wife, I don't want any other kind of sex.

    What I have noticed is this: when I remove the layer of porn, there is another layer to deal with, which is masturbation. Also, there is another layer beneath this, which is the emotions and feelings (a territory a little bit dreaded for me, that I'm exploring now with the help of a therapist). I have realized that out of this times that I have masturbated, maybe three of them are because of a bad management of emotions, stress, anger, anxiety, etc.

    Has anyone experienced this as well? How do you deal with it?
