It's hard to believe I'm about to hit 12 weeks of noFap (Day 83 currently). During this time, I've learned a few things that have helped me get through the temptations. First of all, I thought I was okay to look at sexy pictures on the internet as long as they weren't nude or sexually explicit because I have been clean for so long. Boy was I wrong! Although I didn't break my streak, the temptations became 10x worse after doing so. I can't emphasize how bad an idea this was. Second, I found that coming here to the forum was a great way to talk myself down from the ledge. I'll still probably be suffering the effects of viewing those images for a while, but my streak will keep going. Lastly, you have to keep yourself busy doing things besides fapping. I've known this one for a long time, but it bears repeating because it's so essential to being successful in noFap.

I'd like to say I have some great success story after 83 days, but almost all of that has been during summer, when I haven't had the chance to be around too many girls. Fortunately, school will be starting up again soon, so that will give me the perfect opportunity to try out the new me. Ideally, I WILL be writing in the success story section in a few months, but it'll only happen if I remember the things I've learned so far.

Make a journal if you haven't! That way you will remember things in the months to come for your success story! Good luck, great job!
