Hi.. I fell a bit embarrased posting here, because I'd prefer the problem disappear itself, but the problem still here, day after day, and I am tired of that. This is a new try for me, because I failed before. I didn't know a place like this exist. I'm just noticed that, so, here I am. I have a good feeling right now, and I hope God finally answer my main pray. Thank you so much. I really want to get over this. Let's see what happens.

  3. Heyyy welcome to the NoFap forum : ) It's nice to see you here fighting the good fight alongside us!

    Here is just some advice:

First and foremost please take a look at each section in the forum, there might be something(s) you may find of big help to you. Feel free to post there :+)

Then secondly I just strongly advise you to be active on your profile(as there quite a few active people in the profile section). Please start by choosing an avatar and then make daily status posts to show you're active and needing support/encouragement. They've also got a neat little feature that shows freshly posted statuses for all users to see. People will find your profile and give you encouragement/support.

People (are beginning to) love communicating in the profilesection..(it should be and is )mostly spportive talk but it doesn't hurt to deviate from supportive talk. It would be great to have you join in and support others in the threads, profiles, and journal, we could always use your help and in return you shall receive some as well!

Thirdly, You should also highly consider creating a public journal and write about your days in more depth for us members to follow along your journey and offer support to you by way of posting in your journal.

Last but not least: Good luck on your journey here, make sure to really give it a try with all your heart!

    Welcome to the Nofap community.
The NO PMO journey is not easy but worth the effort.
    The community will support you.

You already experienced that urges may become extremely strong. I don’t fight against the urges, I focus on what I really want: true happiness.
It’s your mind which tells you “Watch porn, fap - and you will be happy.” Maybe you fap and the same mind shouts “You crazy guy, why did you stop your wonderful NO PMO journey?”
Don’t listen to your mind, listen to your heart. You want to get rid of addiction.

It's good to be part of this community, since I can't talk about this problem with people who know me.

I see that people here are very honest whith their PM problem. It's a good thing to have a place where you can express yourself and register your fight, without shame (or just a bit of shame).

It´s been like 10 days since I joined to Nofap. This community is the answer of my prayer, that´s for sure. These days I´ve learned a new vocabulary (PM, AP, "flatline", "chaser effect", etc). Also, I´ve read some journals here, and now I don´t fell so alone with this problem/habit/addiction to PM. That´s a revolution for me. Some testimonials here are very moving. Very touching. I´m praying for all these peoples, even though I don't know them. I fell love for them, even though I don't know them.

I´ve read some interesting things in some posts. Cold showers, for example. Soon it will be summer here, so it will be very useful to calm my anxiety.
I also heard about wearing a chastity belt, which is surprising and interesting, since I didn't think that these things still existed in the 21st century.
Another very interesting thing that I´ve read is to remove coffee from your diet. I usually drink a lot, especially at work, so I´ll try to replace it with tea, or maybe an apple.

I've been here for 37 days. I feel excellent. I joined several challenges and even created my own. I am also in a team competition that ends in 4 days. Unfortunately, my partner had a relapse ... but it made me very good to have participated, and that is the most important thing. In another challenge I activated the Hell mode, and so I am getting the flowers to grow in the grave that I am digging for PM.

Thank God for encouraging me in this new path that I undertake. I know that being clean and walking in holiness is indispensable, so thank you for this opportunity to be in Nofap, which has helped me to resist temptation for 44 days, and counting.

It's the only way. Remove the tares that are in us, and plant virtues. Now I not only enjoy mental health, but I am carrying out a Ministry that makes me feel full.

D76. These days I have been studying a lot for my classes (theme: Sanctification. We are separated by and for God, cleansed by the blood of Christ, consecrated to live for Him), so I have not dedicated so much to my posts in this forum. However, I must take the time to make my publications. Without Nofap I would not have been able to stand so long against sin, and if I walk away for a long time I may stumble. I will not give the miserable PM that opportunity. In my 76 days of abstinence here I am, more vigilant than ever.
