Hello! As diet is important, I would like to know what you eat to identify what diet and what supplements you use that can be best for recovery. So I would be very happy if you could share the following ones: Do you follow any specific diets? Low carb/high fat, high carb/low fat etc.. How do you feel on this diet during the recovery? Do you take any supplements/vitamins/minerals? What supplement/vitamin/mineral works for you? Any other tips for other people here to help with the symptoms of flatline/paws? I can start. I do not follow any specific, but I'm going to to a High protein/high fat/low carb diet and see how I feel on it. Will report back in 1 or 2 month I take a multivitamin that is high dosed, magnesium, fish oil and vitamin d at the moment All of them helps a bit Daily walks, take naps when needed, high intensity interval training will help you during the recovery As I said, I hope you can help me with this to see if there is any pattern on what's best for recovery. Let's help each other
I'm not on any specific diet, but I keep my carb intake reasonable, watch the sugar, eat mostly chicken and fish and red meat minimally. Trying to eat more vegetables and salads. I supplement with Magnesium, Fish Oil, Vitamin B complex, and I am thinking of adding Vitamin E to the mix. I run a lot too.
I feel great. Just had recent blood work done and my cholesterol levels and everything was outstanding. Got a discount on my medical benefits. Running helps a lot. Most people neglect cardio exercise and don't get enough of it.
Before nofap (11days in now) i took zinc/copper with a 25mg to a 1.5mg ratio. I took this in a desperate attempt to increase my libido and to try to get rid of PIED Effects : Deeper voice Tingling sensation in my balls, signaling i need to orgasm. Increased semen amount. Side effects : Lightheadedness and heart palpilations after standing up from my bed, zinc possible Blocks iron intake, resulting in anemia. If your future Girlfriend likes crazy amount of semen, take it. But only take it if your PIED is fixed, since your dick will still feel lifeless.
What i do is, Daily I eat bananas before workout, then shower, breakfast at 10am (mostly whole wheat griddle bread), then i take almonds, at lunch time mostly I use any vegetables curry, rice and curd, then dinner at 8pm (again wheat griddle) and milk at 10pm. Rarely, may twice a weak i have sweets. Yearls once in a month I do fasting. whole month 5am to 7pm The best diet is good sleep and peacefulness
I just eat a ton of fruit and veg, avoid diary, drink green tea and turmeric water. Also a vegetarian.
Actually pretty great, I was living on a diet of sugary crap and tons of carbs, so it's a total overhaul.
Tons of fruit also include tons of sugar. It’s just fructose. That the fruit grows on trees or shrubs does not mean that eating this in large amounts is good. Maybe you feel good because you load a lot of sugar into yourself. Nutritionists say that you should not eat much fruit, but eat a lot of vegetables. Besides, I do not understand why you demonize carbohydrates like that. Jesus Christ... I may have been addicted to sugar. I used to eat a lot of sweets. I don’t eat sweets now and eat a lot of complex carbohydrates. And what? I feel good. Eat rationally.
I'm not on any special diets, but I have experimented with keto, low carb/high fat, and plant-based diets. The only thing that worked was closely monitoring my caloric intake and getting as much exercise as possible, and not denying myself the odd cheat meal or sugary snack (provided that I stay within the limits, of course) every now and then. At present, my diet is pretty substandard. I have gained 40 lbs of weight since February of last year, and I get very little exercise these days. I take a multivitamin, SAM-E, and a nootropic called Alpha Brain. The Alpha Brain is essential for me to focus and concentrate on various tasks. I still have moments where I am scatterbrained, but I am able to refocus and get back on task quickly enough. I have also started playing chess. I am horrible at it, but I am learning every day. Since I am just starting out, I am going to use the method that worked for me when I first quit using smokeless tobacco: exercise and keeping busy. Be prepared for the mind games you're bound to experience when you deprive your brain of its fix.
Bacopa, Hyperzia Serrata, Huperzine A, AC-11, and Cat's Claw are some key ingredients. I recommend the Alpha Brain instant, which is a powder you mix with water. It doesn't taste bad, and passes through the blood brain barrier faster. Alpha Brain instant + 250 mg of caffeine will have you up and running far better than caffeine alone. I take the caffeine in the form of a preworkout drink, or Hydroxycut. I bought some during a store closing sale for really cheap, so I doubt I will continue to use the product after this bottle is done. The preworkout drink is Ghost Legend. It's an awesome product and I don't feel jittery or tingly. I have almost completely stopped drinking energy drinks. I take the SAM-e for joint pain, but I do notice that my mood is much more pleasant. I have little to no joint pain, so I can say that it works for that. In what way did you feel weird?
Hmm. I must confess that I started taking SAM-e after I made Alpha Brain a staple, so I really can't say that I had any similar effects, but I did go 2 weeks last month without taking Alpha Brain, and my behavior was so erratic and spastic, but I blame that on the increased caffeine and sugar intake during that time. Maybe there was a correlation? I also forgot to mention Maca powder as a supplement. Maca is a root that grows in Peru, and there is evidence to suggest that it can help nourish your adrenals. If you drink a lot of caffeine or have a lot of stress, you should try it. I buy mine from Trader Joe's and mix it with oats, protein powder, or chocolate milk.
Actually that's a misconception, fructose is worlds apart from the sugar you find in the likes of cakes and biscuits etc. I feel good due to the fact I'm taking in a lot of nutrients. I didn't demonise carbs, I just said my diet used to consist of a lot of carbs. I still eat healthy carbs, Jesus Christ....
