Hi guys, I've been doing nofap pretty well since the start of the year, but once thing I've always been noticing is right around the time when I start to play video games, these are the times when I begin to lose track. I find myself edging and last week I even ended up relapsing after 6 weeks no O and 2 weeks hard mode. I'm wondering if anybody else has anything to say on this topic. I want to know whether games are really hindering me from achieving what I want to achieve or whether my relapses are symptoms of some other problem. I'm really enjoying games right now so I don't want to stop playing them for no reason, but if many of you find that games have always been around at the same times as you relapsing, then there might be a problem here.

What game was it? Does it have triggers?

You might want to stay away from the games where the girls are wearing hardly anything.

I'm new to the Nofap community, but one thing I do know is that with every addiction there is a trigger. Video games could remind you brain of times in the past of when you used to stay home and PMO all day, so while playing, it reminds your brain to continue your habit. Cutting out video games would not be the answer. That would allow PMO to control your life. The better solution is to play, but resist all urges, and soon, like any habit, it will be broken.

Lmao, no way, I don't play those games, I think they're lame. I've mainly been playing Company of Heroes and Hotline Miami 2. Definitely no triggers there.

Hmmmm yeah I think you may have a point man. That's really uplifting and positive, I really like that :p
