Living Humbly

Hey fellow Fapstronauts,

So I've been in this vicious cycle of rebooting and falling down for a while now and I know if I want to see lasting change I need to do things differently than I have been - I've gotta go all in, that's why I decided today is the day. Today is the first day of the rest of my life and I'm making a commitment to change the way I'm doing things. I reach out in humility because I've come to terms with the fact that I can't do this on my own you guys. I really need accountability and support if things are ever going to change in my life, so that's what I'm asking for with an offer of reciprocation in exchange. How can I be of help to any of you that are still currently struggling? What can I do to help you succeed on your path? We are all in this together and I believe that helping others achieve their goals is not only mutually beneficial but also a great step in the direction of lasting change. Anyway my first goal is to make at least one post a day on these forums. I'm also gonna try to jump on the shoutbox whenever I'm feeling triggered. I'm going for 60 days to start and hopefully build from there. What do you guys think, who's up for the challenge?

I wrote this post 4 years ago and yet today it resonates just as deeply as the first day I typed it. Recently I’ve been out of touch and spiraled back into a pattern of porn consumption. I NEED to make a change. God help me. I want to live differently. I want to be free of this compulsion once and for all. Today is a new day one nofap family. All in again
