    Yeah I want to get rid of both. I can see what it's doing to my life and I dont want it to continue anymore. But like I've said self discipline is something I am struggling with. I want to quit but the urges have been stronger than that want to.

    So I've put a reminder on my watch to vibrate every hour, and I reaffirm to myself that I am getting over porn and it's the most important goal in my life right now. It got me through yesterday, and hopefully will continue.

    I'm quitting PMO for as long as possible because of
    1. Academical goal's
    2. Religious beliefs
    3. need to learn new skills
    4. PMO doesn't help our society, it only destroys it the more
    5. I watched a documentary on YouTube not long ago and i saw women been trafficked into sex slavery. This hit me hard and i believe quitting porn and masturbation is the first way i can help those women.

    This week has been fairly good. I feel way better than I ever have, even with the cold showers included (that trick really helped abstainer101).

    The desire to fap increases proportionately to my new found strength to not do so. I think I will be able to keep it up for a year, although it will by no means be easy.

    I'm up for the challenge i want to join you.
    I decided to join because of several reasons :
    * Learning to take care of myself, PMO just makes me neglect my very responsibilities evenif it benefits me
    * Be a more passionate, productive and happier human being, PMO has killed my self-esteem and happiness and i just see no value in myself anymore
    * And generally be healthier physically, emotionally, psychologically, socially and finacially ...
    * Finally, get a girlfriend, never had one, for severall reasons i came to understand that PMO is at the heart of my anxiety and fear of relationships with women

    Awesome! Well done for taking the cold showers. How did the cold showers made you feel? Do you think it will help you on the journey to nofap?

    What helps me even more is the thought of how can I even fool myself into fucking a girl when in reality I am fucking my hand. Such people are called Wankers.

    Apologies for the crude language but its totally relevant!

    I just moved, so I've been absent for a few days. How is everyone holding up?

    I'm on day 5, I started waking up at 6 am, do Exercise, take a cold shower, then meditate and pray, it makes me feel energized already from the morning, before i used to oversleep and check my phone right after i wake which would always lead me to pmo, but now my new routine is making me start my day on the front foot... I will recomend that exercise be a must, it reallly does make a difference , you learn through it, commitment, perseverance and hard work.. one more thing to add to your day is socializing, talk to a friend, enjoy some moment out, it keep you focused and will reduce on your depression... i'm still learning and keep pushing forward

    3rd Week and still alive!
    Last night was one of the toughest nights I had since the start of this challenge.
    I was browsing through my phone and looking for places to meet women and I almost found myself browsing through pics of women
    on google images! My mind was subconsciously getting to the porn when I finally realized that I am going to have the biggest regret after fapping, so I brought my awareness back to myself. Shut my phone and started to meditate for for few minutes. Once I calm down, I was really thankful for saving myself and realized that I was almost going to feel really shit if I did fap.

    i am up for this challange ,

    actually after a long time i woke up to the thought of refraining myself from PMO....i tried several times earlier but i gave up everytime ,,,, the rules here makes me excited that it ll work ,,i never had this idea of picking up a hobby,,,,,

    i wanted myself to be free from pmo coz it drains all my confidence in life ,,,, i have started to think i am weak,, and i wanna build a healthy lifestyle.....

    Hey all...I'm back on day two now...it was a movie that got me this last time...

    I've started to get a routine down the last couple of nights. Brewing a cup of tea at 9.30 shutting all screen time off and reading a book...its helped so far but again only on day two..

    Keep trying to think of good habits to establish
