Lotion for use on penis(dry skin)

Alright my penis is dry because I accidentally washed it with shampoo for a couple weeks. I want to find a lotion that can be used both for dry skin on body and penis. Because I don't want to have a conversation with my dad where I explain that my dick is dry and needs a special kind of cream. I've heard that cetaphil moisturizing cream and Nivea body lotion are good. I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me out.
