So I've been doing NoFap for 12 days as of today. Everything is good so far, typical NoFap symptoms, urges at the end of the 1st week, high energy, etc etc.

I'm 25 years old, in grad-school, studying most of my day, workout early in the morning, and eating healthy. Before 12 days ago, I think I fapped for the past 4 years, every single day give or take, at least once.

In the past 2 days, I've actually been getting exhausted at the end of the day. Typically, I go to bed at around 10:30PM - 11PM, and I wake up at 6AM or 7AM. Whether I have to wake up or not is sort of not up to me anymore, I just conditioned myself to automatically wake up around that time. In the past 2 days, I've been getting tired around 8:30PM, and I'm knocked out at 9:30. I know that different people have different experiences, but I'm curious if this has been happening to anyone else.

My 2nd question is about penis/scrotum massaging. In the past 3 days, I had really bad urges to relapse, but cold showers always did the trick to help get me out of that mindset. One thing I've also been doing is massaging my penis and balls (borderline jelqing, but not really... if that makes sense), and I'm not sure if that's considered a relapse. I'm not tempted to climax or anything, but when I do it in the morning, I'm fine for the rest of the day (as in I don't think about porn or relapsing). As a precaution (hasn't been close to happening yet), I do it in the shower and make sure the cold water is running, just in case. My question is, should I stop massaging my penis since I'm not masturbating anymore? Is that cheating? I mean I'm not doing it for pleasure, at least I don't believe I am.

Final question, is anyone doing a hard mode NoFap while using prescription adderall? I use adderall for studying. I know that adderall basically increases the activity of dopamine (and other neurotransmitters) in the brain, which is what fapping basically does, but do you feel like you're having more urges while you're on adderall? Maybe this might be correlated with the issue I've been having with being tired at the end of the day, my dopamine receptors are asking for more but aren't getting it.

    Thanks in advance everyone!

  2. Regarding your first question, this is very common as fatigue is one of the usual withdrawal symptoms.
For the second question, I think you should stop touching as this may lead to edging. In general there's a famous sentence here on nofap which is "Don't touch your penis unless you are peeing".
I don't know adderall so I can't answer the last question.

    1) I recommend taking a 20-30 minute nap in the afternoon. You don't even need to fall asleep, just close your eyes and count your breaths 1 in 2 out, all the way up to 10. You will fell refreshed, i have a very similar sleep schedule to you and that method works for me.

    2) I recommend stop touching your balls unless you are peeing or in the shower. you may be releasing some dopamine which is delaying your recovery

Massaging testicles to help with "blue balls" can be helpful (it's mentioned on YBOP) but you do have to be careful that it doesn't turn into masturbation. Massaging your penis is essentially masturbation so definitely cut that out. If you're not doing it for pleasure then what are you doing it for?

Yo, if you are in the USA, the clocks changed last Sunday, so you being tired sooner is normal for everyone...
