Low testosterone

I have an odd question: Does anyone have any experience with low testosterone? If so, is it because, or possibly because of masturbation? I have low testosterone and I'm not sure whether it is because of my previous behavior in that manner or not. Also, this past Monday I went on a referral to a urologist in my area and he did a prostate exam and basically TOLD me what was going to happen, which is he wants me to come back to another appointment so he can inject some medicine (or something) into my penis and run some tests that way. I'm not sure I agree with that, but the reason I won't go back to him is that he's pretty rude, but more importantly, he didn't give me any options about what could be done, then ask me what I wanted to do.

About the low testosterone question, i would say go to a clinic and ask for testosterone blood level exam to check

And about the doctor who told you to inject something in your penis, ask him a lot of questions like "what are you going to do" , "What are you going to inject me with" and "Is it safe to do so?"

Make the injection as a last resort because the idea of having a syringe in your penis is pretty weird

Update me on how it goes

I researched this a while back and found the following suggested ways to increase testosterone naturally:

    1. Weight training
    2. Plenty of cholesterol (from which testosterone is manufactured)
    3. Plenty of sleep

The first time I combined these--working out hard, eating 4 whole eggs before going to bed, and getting a full 8 hours of sleep--I woke up with a massive hard on and felt like King Kong. Haha. YMMV, obviously.

    Things to avoid:

    1. Alcohol
    2. Nicotine
    3. Lack of exercise
    4. Excessive ejaculation

One problem I've heard with testosterone therapy is that it may increase overall testosterone without increasing "free" testosterone. It's the latter that really matters.

I've even read that you can't increase free testosterone artificially. You have to combine the things mentioned above.

I'm not a medical professional, so don't take my word for it. But I've had good results following those recommendations.
