Welcome - that's how a lot of us found the site. There are a lot of guys in this group with 30+ year habits, like myself, that are learning how to win the battle and live a more balanced life. If you're open to a couple of suggestions, here are mine:

1) Start a reboot log in the 40+ group where you can journal about your background and track your progress daily.
2) Follow some other reboot logs and learn from and support others on the journey. It helps to know that you're not alone in this fight.
3) Set a small goal, something easy that you use to get started on the right foot. Something like "just for today, not one peek at P" or whatever is appropriate for you. String together a few small victories and build off that.

Good luck brother, I believe you have everything to gain and nothing to lose from giving this a shot. I'll be following your journey, I hope to hear from you soon!

Hi, welcome to the community

I would recommend you to stay in touch with members and read their success stories. You may also learn tricks to avoid the short-term pleasure and to face the temptations.

Be AWARE of your habits and control what you see and what/who you spend your time with.

It's also important to limit the usage of social media. In addition, never be free! Use your free time as much as possible and do sports, exercise, attend classes, etc.

This video contains everything that you need to know about porn addiction. Lastly, here is a collection of ways to deal with the urges which worked great for me.
