Manscaping?

Hey Men,
I've not been on in a while but I needed to get advice from other men with experience. Coming back on also makes me want to try another stretch at nofap again. It's a tricky time of year for me as I have potentially free time on my own at home, so that's a bit risky. Nofap definitely helped me before.

Anyway I wanted to get advice on a sticky issue. I recently bought a good quality hair trimmer as I've started shaving my head over the covid lockdown. I am going to keep it like this now as it's so handy and oddly I've had a lot of compliments about it.

The trimmer is cordless and very handy to use so I decided to tidy up my body hair also, which I rarely do. I shaved my chest and torso with a #4 blade. I decided to trim my pubes so used #3 around the main area / base of shaft. I then used a #1 over my sac. It feels nice but I noticed since my sac is really sticking to my thigh and I regularly have to do the old leg spread and shake to try and free them, usually without success. I often end up just putting my hand in and re-adjusting them.

I think a lot of guys trim and shave regularly now so can you tell me how you deal with this situation. I usually wear boxer briefs and jeans.

Any advice much appreciated.

I'll definitely try the body powder first. Can I ask what type of underwear you use to combat the problem? None of my boxer-briefs do the job. The only pair that worked is a cheap pair of briefs I bought from SportsDirect which I use when out doing manual work. They definitely work but they look a bit old man / bulgy looking!

I would be interested to know what types work and look half decent.

I Followed your advice this morning after my shower and I nearly led to me fainting! I poured in a generous portion and spread it around. An hour later I went for a leak when at the petrol station. I looked down and nearly fainted. It was mostly white and I had forgot about the powder. The end was wet and red which made the white part look like it was old dead skin pealing off, like it had been submersed in water for hours and the skin had started to peel. I nearly screamed but it was pure relief when I found out what it really was. As regards the sticking thing it has help so far but I've not been very active or sweaty since so we'll see.
Can I ask you about the underwear thing again please. Can you advise of any style or type that's helpful.

I suppose that makes sense. It definitely better presents and makes things look bigger, not that anyone else sees it!!
I'll stick with a light trim occasionally from now on!

 

If anyone else can advise on underwear please. I want a type that cups and separates like briefs but don't have the 'old man' look that briefs do.

I def don't think I could shave! You mean with an actual razor blade over your ball-sac?

I tried that before but maybe I was just unlucky. I might take another try but though I'd see if anyone in a similar situation had found a comfortable type.

Lol. I should have mentioned maybe that only a light dusting is typically necessary. You don't want it to get cakey or look like you just walked out of a flour mill.
As for the underwear, you'll have to decide for yourself. There are some brands out there that focus on separation of the penis from the testicles. I've not had much luck with these in terms of comfort or appearance. As you might have gathered, I'm a fan of Calvin Klein. There are various styles of boxer briefs that work well for me. Trial and error will get you closer to find what works best for you.[/QUOTE]

Thanks mate. I'm not separating penis and balls but just to keep my junk all cupped together with no thigh contact. I'll maybe try some cks. They are expensive for trial and error though. What type do you use or think I should start with? Are the button fly types any good?

Hi Jonah, you mean trunks like briefs? I'm in Ireland here so we probably use different terms. Over here pants mean underwear or briefs where it's very different in the US. Also fanny has a very different meaning here!
