Manscaping?

Why not invest in a pack of briefs that are colored and a little less bulky than the full-rise kind? Calvin Klein's mid-rise briefs are really good, and you can get them in colors that are not white. The black, blue, and grey CK briefs look classy. Though, IMO, the "tighty whities" coloring here looks fine since they don't go up so high and look nicer than your standard Hanes / FOTL Walmart briefs do.

Jockey's Elance Bikini Briefs are also good if you want the hold that briefs provide coupled with a skimpier but more modern look.

 

Sometimes I like the idea of manscaping, but I also know that I can get into MO trouble playing down there - so I'm not always clear in my mind what my motive for any manscaping would be. Aside from a possibility that I may be lying to myself and I just want to play or look at my junk, I think another motive for me would be hygienic - just to get rid of hair that can trap odor, even if one bathes regularly, and also maybe a cleaner smoother feel, as described. That would be nice. However, isn't there a lot of itching when stubble grows back initially? How do you deal with that? I also fear manscaping all the way by myself, especially testicles, as I can and have nicked myself. Also, with added weight around my stomach these days, the navigation and view is a little difficult below the belt at some angles.

If you can believe it, there's also a place near where I live with 2 professional men who do private manscaping for men of any age, size, and orientation. They seem above board, and their set fee of $60. They also have some good looking men on their web site - not just manscaping pubes, but any body hair below the neck, etc., like chest, back, limbs, gluts, etc. So, I also feel the risks of visiting their website - am I just getting into P-subs? It almost seems like going to an escort, too, in having another trim you down there. Is this playing with fire? I also like the idea of getting a legitimate massage some times, especially in some problem achy areas, like my hips and calves. But, again, this crosses into legitimate motives vs. dangerous zones. So, I forget about it entirely, sometimes after dangerous fantasizing on websites, which I call out as risky P subs. Massage seems like a sensual indulgence I may want but don't need, perhaps. What do you think about this and manscaping? Do I really need manscaping? Is this just fantasy? Should I just forget it all and be natural, which ultimately works, too. Ha!

The risk of MOing while manscaping is real and a valid reason for not doing it.

mad for professional manscaping—I never considered that an option. Frankly letting anyone else near my junk with even the safest tools is a bit frightening. And I would fear getting aroused with another person handling or near my junk.

Interestingly, as far the arousal during professional service, their website even refers to that possibility and assures that it does happen and they are not alarmed, nor is there any need of embarrassment. It's simple male biology, nothing more. I'm sure they've seen it all.

Honestly I think Hanes/FTL white briefs are perfectly serviceable. I've tried some of the fancier brands, and I don't know if any of them really justify the higher price.

 

I recommend a Brazilian wax. I love mine. If you exfoliate 2-3 times a week and apply serum after exfoliation and as needed you will be fine. Hair is growing back thinner and softer so you don't get a stubble like you do when you shave.

 

I shaved down there a single time in my life. The itch, and as you say, stickiness was enough for me to swear it off forever.

 

May be a naive question, but why does trimming or shaving my pubes make that area extremely itchy for 2 weeks? Like it hurts so much that I can't sleep well because of it?

 

Why do you do it if it causes so much irritation then? I have never understood why guys do it when it is so uncomfortable.
