@planters1987 here is the link:
Basically was originally a quit smoking tool. The words have been changed by another author but most all the concepts are the same. Except they pertain to PMO.
It worked for me for quitting smoking, so I was happy to see a version put out for this. I read it quickly and feel great right now. Almost to 3 weeks, but I'm not keeping track as much as I was before because I know that it too much pressure.
kind of skimmed it, good stuff. Never really thought of it that way.
So I’m like proper reading it but I’ve pmo’d three days in a row because it says you don’t need to quit while reading. Is this a good idea? I’m just worried because the first two days I felt bad about it but just now I’ve felt meh. Just like, no feeling about it. I’m going away to the county for three days with hopefully no wifi so that should be a big help.
Hi all- I'm a 24 yo married male trying to quit PMO. I've been trying to quit for about 2-3 years now. My longest streak has been 60 days, but these last couple of months have been really rough for me. It seems like I have a lot in common with members of this group. Is anyone here looking for an AP? If so, PM me.
This is a great forum to be a part of. Some of us are reading the or have read the hack book mentioned above and have found that it useful. I think that in addition to having an AP it’s well worth a read. I haven’t got through the whole throng yet but definitley make a start.
Today I celebrate my 21 days of no PMO!
@Newstart_c I agree. This is the most viewed and most commented on forum under Accountability Partners and also has a lot of great members. Good stuff! I hope we can gain more members to use this thread. We got some great streaks going here right now. Obviously we are trying to make a change in our life and stop PMO for GOOD.
These forums can put a lot of pressure on the members though. Keeping track of each day....or someone who has a relapse in the forum may put others at risk as well.
The goal is accountability. If you are not using this thread to have someone hold you accountable than your progress will be much slower. You must become a NON-PMOer. There is no other way. And it's easy!
congrats man, 21 days is impressive!
I can’t go more than 7 days without getting some from my wife. I did manage to go full 30 days without porn but didn’t have a game plan for what to do after and I guess I just gave up on the NoFap for a few months. but I am ready to join the group again. I was a better husband and father without P, even though it was only a late night thing it definitely effects my daily interactions. I have trained myself to pmo to relax before bed for years. Really immature habit, tried of it. I don’t want to think about how many hours of my life I wasted
That’s a massive component - Time wasted. On what? A sh!tty habit which achieves nothing.
An important realisation I had today was that sex or M isn’t even a necessary part of life. Unlike food and water, your body takes care of it for you through wet dreams. Hackbook recommend above has been very useful- great to understand the nature of the addiction.
Hi i m in the same situation. it could be happy to exchange two lines 1-2 times / week to motivate
