i have been 13 days without masturbating to porn but today I tried to masturbate thinking about a girl a hooked up last week (no porn thoughts) and I could hit climax very quickly, this I could not do before.
i want to know if masturbate is bad to nofap or just masturbating to porn that is the real devil. help me cause I don't know if broke my 13 days nofap!!!!

It is not harmful.
 
Man I fell into the exact same trap like 2 weeks ago, I was on my day 16 for the first time in my life, then I suddenly wanted to masturbate (I didn't even want no photos of porn, I just missed the feeling of that pleasure after masturbating), after I went for it I didn't feel guilty or something. I thought everything's was fine, bit the nest day I simply watched porn and relapsed, then relapsed again and again and again, we all know how it all ends up.
So basically it is very important for you not to do what i did because 13 data isn't that easy to achieve!!! Good luck man
 
There are a few different opinions. Some say that all masturbation is wrong. Some say that masturbation is wrong if it's done often. My personal opinion is that masturbation is not necessarily wrong, but that lust is. When someone is masturbating, they're typically not doing it with an empty mind-- they're lusting after somebody. If you're struggling with lust and then you masturbate, it's not going to cure that problem, it's only going to make it worse.

When you've got images of a certain woman/man in your mind, you are coveting something that does not belong to you (in marriage).

Everything is a choice. Looking at porn. Masturbating. Even whether to cum or not.
 
You could masturbate once a day if you wanted to if you want to use your imagination but personally I reckon the sweet spot for porn-free masturbation would every 2-3 days or even once a week. People keep reiterating "But your energy will go away if you do it everyday". If you exercise and have a healthy diet, you would end up with more energy than you know what to do with.

Also, porn is not a "devil", stop labeling it as such and stop pinning the blame on porn. It's just a form of entertainment catered towards adults which can also become addictive depending on the person's behavior and habits and obviously the people here fit under the category of those who abused the consumption of pornography/masturbation and ended up with an annoying addiction, that's all it is.
 
My experience in my last reset was that I got to a point where I could masturbate without porn after about 10 days and I didn’t have the urge to do it as regularly as before.

This is ultimately where I want to be, I don’t think masturbating without porn is harmful in itself. However it led to porn creeping back in to my life via borderline cases, first it was models on social media, then ASMR videos and audio porn. Before long I was back watching regular porn multiple times a day.

Everyone’s different but I’m going to aim for a longer spell without masturbating this time in the hope that I can return to it after a full reset is complete.

That's known as a p-sub or a porn substitute.
If you are addicted, you really need to do the full hard reboot. A full 90 days is recommended.

Thereafter, occasional masturbation without porn (or p-subs) and only for urge relief (not for stress relief) seems to be harmless according to the research. If you have a sexual partner, you would do best to never masturbate.

If you're masturbating thinking about a girl that you've hooked up with, then you're essentially just reliving the experience you've already been through, in fact him using his imagination to relive an experience that he already has been through is miles better than consuming pornography. Using your imagination isn't a porn substitute, they're just sexual thoughts which is what every human in this planet has. If you were to say a model twerking in a video on instagram then sure, but using your imagination? I don't think so.

Hi Ditto leleu masturbation is wrong full stop! I respect and understand other people's alternative views. But I know from experience that fapping can lead to much worse activities. For example stalking and sexual assault. I myself have been guilty of the former but not the latter. So far!
Porn and masturbation give us a distorted view of sexuality. If you can avoid the first step, viewing porn, you can avoid descending in to hell!

me too, but i think its because sertraline withdrawal. Better have a strategy like start stop technique or edging. It helps alot and train your mind to control your climax time. Don't forget to kegel too, it really does work:)

This is not true! :eek: Edging is about the most harmful activity you can engage in as it results in more release of dopamine in the brain than anything else! Orgasm control is not something to pursue when you have an addiction to porn/masturbation.

the most harmful is not ejaculate when already aroused with or without M bruh, head burns like hell
 
Everyone is different so i don't know.
For me M without P is damaging recovery,even just M give you dopamine rush,make you lose semen,and M is very addictive.If you doing nofap do hardmode,because it is best way to get rid of both P and M,my opinion.

The addictive side is the dangerous one. M with P even doubled the dopamine :D
