    I feel depressed when I dont masturbate. Is this normal

    Hey man, first of all well done on your 29 days :))) ... that is inspiring!

    Second of all, just to make it clear, you're not depressed because you're not masturbating. You probably are depressed because of different issues in your life - which is normal - that you probably should start facing bit by bit. What we usually do when we are distressed or depressed is we go to porn to numb those feelings or to 'feel better', but this is just a delusion .. a temporary pump of endorphins, problems will remain. So right now, you are facing these same feelings but your subconscious mind is telling you to go to FAP to feel good. Please don't!

    We need to start taking control of our lives, we need to learn to live with the pain and grow through it!

    On another note, I got this from a support group on Telegram, talking about the same thing:
    "When we suffer pain, our brain generates endorphins, a neurotransmitter that is also secreted after pleasant experiences like sex, food and pleasure, this substance produces effects of calm and satisfaction, as do certain opiate drugs, such as morphine or heroine. That is why in chemical interpretation, a sensation of pain will produce the same brain effect as a sensation of pleasure."

  3. you might fell more depressed if you masturbate today, don't do it. I understand how you crave it. but wait till your 90 days are up. at least.

    I think you're probably looking at it backwards. You say you're depressed BECAUSE you're not masturbating. Most likely, you're already depressed and are using masturbating to deal with the depression. It's called "coping". Unfortunately, the PMO as a coping mechanism reinforces the depression and you get caught up in a never ending loop.

    If you want out of PMO, it's FUNDAMENTAL you find a new coping mechanism to deal with your depression. (EG exercise)

    I slipped friday by masturbating so i did not make it only 28 th day goes in cycles
