    Hi,

I suggest anyone to try these things whenever things start and you believe you are on the road to a place where you can't stop or simply it gets uncomfortable. So don't be a disbeliever and try it out, it's cheap.
    100% pure Essential Oils:
    - Camphor
    - Marjoram
    - Coriander
    Herbs:
    - Liquorice
    - Fenugreek
    - Marjoram
    - Coriander
    - Ashwagandha (Withania Somnifera)

    Essential oils:
Some companies sell them overpriced. Ignore them. There are cheap versions. All it matters is they are 100% genuine plant material, no artificial additives. Preferentially non-chemically extracted. Like by steam.
You can both smell them straight from the bottle by the nose and drop a few drops in the room on a piece of raw wood (not bark) or on some material and the whole room and house will be filled with the nice plant smell.
Do not ingest nor put on skin, it's an extract, can burn and create allergies. Watch out for children and animals so they don't drink or touch it. The oils evaporate by themselves and fill the room. It's just a nice smelling vapour (gaseous natural medicinal chemical mixture of components) extracted from a plant that gets to your lungs, then to your blood and is spread to the whole body where it works it's wonders. There should be no issues. Just a few (2-4) drops of each might be enough and it tends to stay for quite a long while, so it's not easy to run out of.

    Herbs:
You can eat it raw or make a tea. Test either or both.
Preferentially buy in dry herb form, capsules tend to be more expensive, but it varies and quality varies also among producers.

In case you have some serious medical conditions, check contraindications, but don't be excessively fearful, the ones I wrote above shouldn't pose a risk, especially in low doses short term, so no need to panic.

There are also others, but watch out, cause some might be more risky so read about their side effects and contraindications:
    herbpathy -> disease -> Nymphomania
    herbpathy -> action -> Anaphrodisiac

Just see for yourselves whether it works for you.
And don't waste your time buying one or two. Better buy as many as you can and just try them one by one, cause if you just buy one and it won't work you may lose faith any will work, which is false. Even if one helps, it will be good. Maybe most or all of them will.
And if it works on you, write about it.
Prayers for it to work on all of you.

    Genesis 1
29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.

    Revelation 22
22 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3 No longer will there be any curse.

    John 8
2 At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. 3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group 4 and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?” 6 They were using this question as a trap,in order to have a basis for accusing him.
But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. 7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” 8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
9 At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. 10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”
11 “No one, sir,” she said.
“Then neither do I condemn you,”Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”

Thanks for bringing up this excellent topic :)

I love licorice tea, but I have read that it increases female libido (opposite of its affect on male libido). Also, if a person drinks more than one or two glasses of licorice tea per day for a long time then there are some health risks due to the glycyrrhizin. There is deglycerized licorice but I have never tried it.

Some people say that ashwagandha increases libido in men. I use ashwagandha, and I haven't noticed that problem.

Licorice and ashwagandha are the only herbs on your list that I have tried.

Also, how are essential oils used? I have seen them, but I have never understood how to use them.

    Some introduction to the topic:

    1. First of all, you have to realize that people do not fully (or even barely) understand how plants work on a microscopic level.
There is some research in some of the plants, but there are at least thousands of medicinal plants (so there's much hope)
and in each might have hundreds of natural compounds inside.
And what you see in artificial chemical substances they use in standard medicine are often made of just 1 or 2 or 3 active artificial substances.
Trying to extract every single compound from a plant and conducting research is VERY expensive and time consuming.
And what is the reason (at least most) pharmaceutical companies make medicine?... money.
What is the basic reason they get money? Patents. Monopoly. You can't sell what they create for a few years,
    so they give large prices.
You cannot patent a plant ("people, you are not allowed to eat oranges for 5 years, cause my company patented it"),
so there is no money there on this level. Only thing you can do is create a mix of plants, dry it, grind it to dust and put
it in pill form or extract with alcohol or something, remove some compounds so it's more concentrated (you can't be sure
they don't remove the good parts or add something that shouldn't be there)
and put a nice colorful label in an attractive bottle, so it looks more professional than some dry leaves, flowers or roots in a bag or box.
This is why like one herbal medicine scientist said, that THERE WILL BE NO RESEARCH. There is no incentive for the
money owners to invest in it, cause anyone can produce it, oftentimes on their window sill or in the garden.
    And it's really cheap.
There might be some research, the question is are you going to "wait until you die or lose more decades of your life,
waiting for them to make research".

    2. This leads us to... we don't know how it works. So it might work this way on someone and another way on
someone else. It might work better in low dose, negative in big dose. It might work different depending on the
state you are in medically and emotionally, mentally. Gender, age, etc.
Which might often be why even scientists, producers, internet article writers don't know. So they'll say it does something,
while someone says it does not. Etc.
Some will say "it's dangerous", for varying reasons... some of which I believe might not be honest or comes from excessive
fearfullness of things not "perfectly studied under a microscope".

    3. My belief is that outside of some really serious risky plants, that even in relatively small doses can be lethal (these are
the minority), there is no need to excessively worry about it. They have been used for millenia. Cause you can decrease
the dose to 1/10th the proposed dose, or lower if you are especially fearful and nothing should happen. The plants effect
usually fades pretty quickly, like after a couple of hours or a day. And even if you have a "negative effect" it will usually
be minor and quickly pass and if you see a couple of times it works bad for you, just abandon this one. (at least for now,
cause what works bad now, might work better another time)

    As for the essential oils.

    1. Human body and plants in the basic material aspect are made of chemical compounds in three states of matter:
    solids, liquids and gases.
The states of matter can change. So some parts of the plant are more keen on evaporating (in temperatures much below
boiling point), others less or perhaps at all. These parts that evaporate from a flower or tree, are a gas that spreads in air
in all directions (winds influencing it too).
So what you smell from eg. a flower are chemical compounds that evaporate. Essential oils are a concentrate of these
    compounds that tend to evaporate.

    2. When you put a drop of this liquid on a piece of raw wood, or in a glass jar (that you can close with a lid) on top of some
water (it doesn't mix with water, floats on top), evaporates at a certain speed and spreads in air. (no need to buy evaporators)

    3. People mostly assume that it's "just a smell, an estetic quality". No. It's natural gaseous chemical compounds.
When it reaches your smell receptors in the nose you experience the smell. But you also breathe them into your
lungs. And lungs are directly connected to blood vessels. And blood vessels go into every cell in the body.
(there is the blood-brain barrier, but many substances breach that too)
So when you breathe in, you are potentially transfering these substances into every cell.

    4. When you open the bottle it also evaporates from it and you can breathe it in directly from
    the bottle.

    5. When it fills the room, it touches everything the air touches. Including skin, hair, furniture.
Can have many other qualities, like antibacterial, antiviral, etc.

    6. Do not risk drinking it or putting on skin.

    7. The substances in a plant that do not tend to evaporate will not work this way
and sometimes eating the whole plant parts might be necessary to get even more benefit.
    But sometimes it's enough.

    8. Sometimes you can also burn dry herbs like and the smoke can have it's benefits too,
when in small quantities. Or using a magnifying glass to evaporate dry herbs by sun.

    And some additional info:

    1. Some substances work by equalizing, not only increasing or decreasing.
Eg. You have too high pressure it will lower it. You have too low, it will make it higher.
The same goes for plants that can work both as a aphrodisiac and anti-aphrodisiac
    depending on where you are.

    2. Some people might have issue with fear that they are losing their abilities and when
you see that this plant works on restoring it. So you when you fear that
"by abstaining you are making yourself impotent" or something like that and then people
go to "test whether they are still able". Or you feel that this guy is more able than you,
while most likely He's on heavy drugs. Then the plant can give you more confidence.

    3. Often the attraction is (at least partially) pathological and is caused by eg. feeling
fear to a person and this fear increases the obsession. So when you take anti-fear
herbs (like eg. Rhodiola Rosea) it might help.

    4. Other times pathologically the attraction might be from anger. Then you can take
herbs for personality disorders (like Kava Kava or Mucuna Pruriens).

    5. Even if some of those herbs have an aphrodisiac nature and seem like they are making
things worse in the short term, the sum effect of the herb might be beneficial, at least
medium term. If you can have a correct attitude to it.

    6. Many times people use this obsession to "cure" loneliness, depression, stress, boredom, etc. etc.
And use it as a pain reliever. And many illnesses can create those effects, that you attribute to
a lack in this department. So if some herb heals at least some of your symptoms, you might have
a lesser incentive to use this method and might start to believe that there are other ways to feel
better, which is a gateway to believing this addiction is not so necessary as you thought.

    And I could go on.
So what is left is just have faith it might help, don't be excessively fearful and just test
them out. Cause what I believe is lack of faith can make the possibility of getting better
at least less likely. And if you go into a place when you feel "I don't believe it's possible
to ever get better", it's really a bad state of mind. And a LIE. Whether it's "placebo" or not,
who really cares as long as you are better. And perhaps "placebo" comes from God.

    Mark 5
A large crowd followed and pressed around him. 25And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. 26She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. 27When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, 28because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.” 29Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.
30At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?”
31“You see the people crowding against you,” his disciples answered, “and yet you can ask, ‘Who touched me?’ ”
32But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it. 33Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth. 34He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”
