MEMORY PROBLEM ANYONE????

Hey man yeah i can relate. I used to a brilliant student and had an excellent memory. But after i discovered porn and masturbation things went downhill. Sometimes i dont even remember what i did or ate the previous day. Pmo really messes up your brain chemistry.

I had this in the early days, all I could remember was sexual encounters and porn images, these kept coming in to my head. Couldn’t remember where my keys were though, ha!

It did begin to improve though and now I would say it’s better than ever, my mind is very clear. The process is different for everyone it seems but it will get better. Stay strong.

 

I went from hi IQ yo below average IQ since i discovered porn and i struggled alot with studying. I went back to college at 26 and i couldn't survive, i have a very bad memory and adhd symptoms, my adhd is only present when i try to study or learn something, i developed anhedonia as well, these symptoms started to become noticeable two years after we got home internet. Only now i could relate why all this happened to me.

Now at 26 years old, i have got erectile dysfunction and libido loss. My hair was thin since 21 years old and i haven't gotten bald yet, it could be from pmo too. I am porn free since August and mo free since September.

Until now, things seem to get worse for me. I used to sleep in seconds during pmo days and wake up after snoozing my alarm 4 or 5 times. Now i lay in bed for 2 hours before falling asleep and wake up after 4 or 5 hours as if i have slept 20 hours. I don't even need my alarm anymore, i think it's insomnia.

 

Still have a little anxiety but I can see small improvements happening there.

 

Yes. When i had like 30+ day streaks i could feel a slight improvement, but things got worse when i relapsed.

 

How is your diet? Certain foods you're sensitive to can be the cause of the brain fog. Addiction gradually creates all kinds of sensitivities and foods you could eat before start to cause issues. I can't eat wheat, chickpeas or certain things without getting severe drowsiness and brainfog. Eating an unhealthy diet will gradually send me into brain fog, eating a clean, healthy diet clears the brain fog

Diet, sleep and exercise all have massive roles in proper memory formation. I suggest you check out the work of Dr Josh Turknett regarding how severely diet can impair cognition. Modern processed food is terrible.

How strict are you with P? Do you look at instagram models or girls in bikinis on google images or anything? How about orgasm? Are you masturbating or having sex? Orgasm can drastically impair memory and recovery, look into POIS.
