here it is " Ejaculation is the precondition and beginning of the special periodic serum testosterone level variations, which would not occur without ejaculation."
I think you just misread the study, it is about "endocrine response to masturbation induced-orgasm" no? The effects from what i understood occur only after or during an orgasm and not in a void.
As for the third study yes i did deny that dopamine declined but as i said i modified my answer, what occur after orgasm is just a momentary feeling of sadness/depression during the refractory period; despite dopamine level declining your own study say that "So the happy feelings impulsed by orgasm are carried along by prolactin" which continue to be released for up to two weeks and conclude "Dopamine dips from its orgasmic high and prolactin and androgen step in to produce feelings of satiety, pleasantness, and to make us want to take a break. At least for a while". And nowhere is reduction of testosterone level mentioned.

Again, you can talk about studies all you want, but studies don't anything to invalidate my experience with semen retention. I don't do SR because I read studies. I do it because I genuinely FEEL THE SUPERPOWERS. Alternatively, when I do ejaculate, I feel miserable, non-energetic, weak, pathetic, sad, lonely, and depressed. My experience is 100 times more valuable than any study out there (even though all the studies we've linked back my claims about SR).

  3. I agree. Each to his own and I respect that. I can understand your situation, yes. The difference in my experience is that I'm a 22 year old virgin who's never been in a relationship before, but I trust with a continuing exercising of this lifestyle I will probably make that decision sooner or later as well. I hope sooner than later.
    Good luck to you.

Hello, I read what you wrote and you helped make my mind up to stay a virgin is the most important part of being here and joining NOFAP.
I am a Christian virgin. I do not view porn but I am here because I admit that I am a masturbator.
I know It's dangerous masturbating and since I was I was fearful it might make me suseptable to pirn and that might lead to more nasturbation and fantasizing and even to pre marital sex! I do not want this in my life so I joined up here to become accountable to someone and to seek information and guidance about chastity, celibacy and semen retention.
I think I can do it.
    I want to do it.
I believe I can do it with some help but I'm not really sure all the things to do to become successful. I initially joined to just figure out how to break my masturbation habit. I don't do it that much except when the pressures build up so great that
T I start having wet dreams and leaks in my pants during the day and I get so frustrated that I finally give in , but then I always regret it and I'm disappointed thatbI have to start over from day one again.
    I want to do this!
Can you help guide me? I be an excellent student and report all I can as honestly as I can as I really wish to do this in my life.
I don't want to end up wishing I did something sooner when my life is messed up. I want to begin today.

If this mindset works for you - fine, virtually anything is better than being addicted to porn. But as a general advice this is just as bad as it can get. A healthy sexuality is key part in most peoples life. The cure for binge eating is not starving but developing a healthy relationship with food. This backward religious moral gives nofap a bad reputation in the general public.

Well, all I have to say is the dozens of men on here have stated that their "healthy sexuality" like you claim (ie sex with their partners) actually causes a huge chaser effect and they end up looking at porn. I don't know why you people can't understand that sex is just going to ignite the fire again. If you're not addicted to porn, all the power to you.

If you are a porn addict, you can never have sex safely again. Sorry, but that addiction is wired in your brain forever. There are men on this forum that have went years without PMO, and then when they started having sex with their wives they had crazy urges to look at Porn. Sex will eventually lead a porn addict back to porn.

The people who hate me for saying this do so because they don't want to believe it's true. It's hard for them to hear the depressing reality for us porn addicts. Deep down they know it's true, but they don't want to except it.

I don’t hate you for saying what you do. If your way works for you then fine. However, what if love-making is not only about reproduction and “pleasure”?!

I read a comment on here by @Tobo and I thought it was very interesting so I wanted to share it. Remember fellas, losing your virginity IS DANGEROUS. ESPECIALLY for PMO addicts like us.

"DO NOT LOSE YOUR VIRGINITY TO A woman! I did that at 18, you will get hooked and it WILL lead you into another spiral of sex addiction. I know it is tempting, but I really do not recommend it I started it at 18 and to this day, 16 years later, I still struggle with escort addiction, don't start! After that even if girls do want you they will not interest you because you will have had supreme hotties and trust me, it will f*ck your capabilities to connect."

Damn, I just quickly scrolled through this thread. This is nuts. You guys must be kidding.

Only good thing coming from this is, that your gene pool goes down with you. NoFap became such a freak show in the last couple of years, dude. Shit ain't healthy anymore.

Sexual energy can take us into hell, which means it can also take us into heaven - if we know how to direct it. And when is sexual energy in its most active, powerful state ? When we make love with a woman who we love with all our heart!

You expressed that this is nuts and that nofap isn't healthy anymore. But you didn't explain why. I would love to know if you have the time.

Interesting post. The question is: If you have sex once, how likely are you to develop toxic sexual behaviors (sex addiction, porn addiction,…)? Is it worth the risk?

Exactly correct my friend. "Is it worth the risk?" Is an amazing question that all of us should ponder. That's the whole point of this thread. Even if you have a 5% chance of becoming addicted to sex after you lose your virginity, why would you take that chance??

Another thing to understand is that the people on THIS SITE are already predisposed to be addicted to sex, so we have a much higher chance to become addicted than the rest of the population. PMO addicts like us who lose their virginities usually just substitute one addiction (P) for another (S).

Do you ever leave the house? The chance to be killed outside is small, but it's there. Why even take that chance? You don't even realize how ridiculous you sound, do you?
