Mental Abstinence

I’ve recently noticed something while on my current streak. I’ve gone 68 days without masturbating. However, back on day 42 of this streak I was home alone and just got back from work. I was sitting on the couch watching TV when I got hit with a huge urge for stimulation. I ended up watching porn for around a half an hour.

The next day I felt different. I little fatigued, a little depressed, and a little anxious. I knew it was from that viewing session and figured this would all go away in the next few days. I was wrong though, what actually happened was a decline in benefits that I would normally have this far in on a streak.

I had to learn the hard way that the benefits from Nofap don’t come from just the semen retention like I originally thought.

Sucks, but all I can do is just keep going and wait for the benefits to return. I also entered a flatline immediately after that night. I’m almost out of it, so hopefully that means I’m getting back to where I was.
