@RonTheMan I hope I don't sound disrespectful of your concerns here, but I think you may be going a bit overboard with your preventative measures. The whole point of distancing yourself from porn is so that you can engage with real women and appreciate all aspects of them (including physical) so that porn feels like what it is - fake and empty - in comparison. I understand and totally encourage avoiding leering at girls in public and constantly coming up with porn fantasies, but avoiding looking at a woman's body while talking to her...you're putting yourself through undue torture my friend.

I'm guessing you're fairly young and I notice that younger guys on here are way more literal and strict about what counts as relapse, how many days...sometimes getting to the point of "if I think bad thoughts should I reset my counter?". This isn't a video game...shame, anxiety and the accumulation of points are not the path to recovery. Just go a little easier on yourself.

 

At the risk of turning this thread into an echo chamber, you didn't relapse. This is the sort of thing you should be responding to (assuming it's what floats your boat).

 

This actually might have been a perfect teaching moment for your friend. When she asked you why you were looking down you could have been perfectly honest and told her you are trying not to look at women as sex objects and her loose t-shirt was not helping. Who knows where the conversation would have gone, but it would probably have been very interesting! A meeting of the minds between sexes... (Ha, ha.. you might have ended up getting laid!)
