Microsoft Edge and My Problem

For Fapstronauts of the Catholic Christian Faith

  1. Okay, I don't know how many Catholic computer geeks we have out there but I'll give it a whirl.
So, the one thing that has been leading me into a lot of relapses is Microsoft Edge and I'll explain why.
Unlike my other browsers, Google Chrome and Firefox, Microsoft Edge does not keep me signed in. Every time I exit out of it, there is no protection on it with the exception of the Qustodio thing that I have downloaded. So, for example, one of the things that I do when I give in is go to Google images on Microsoft Edge and type in porn or whatever, and sure enough, it'll show these images. Oddly enough, you have to give it a bit and for some reason, the safety precautions kick on in, but there is a way around that. Anyway, I've been trying to disable Microsoft Edge and it is very hard. I have been trying to find this file on my computer that is supposedly supposed to lead me to disabling it: C:\Windows\SystemApps
but it won't come up in my system. I can't find it in my file explorer. What can I do? This is growing very tiresome.

I think I can help, at least with helping you find SystemApps.

It's as simple as pressing Win-R to open the Run command box. Then just type in "C:\Windows\SystemApps" and run. It'll open the folder for you.

Don't remember if you need to have "show hidden files/folders" enabled for this to work, I assume you have it set though.

*edit - you probably just can't find it normally through file explorer because it's a system thing. Run box should fix that

Quick less related thought - there will always be a way around blockers. If a human made a lock a human can break into that lock. Blockers can be helpful tools but what we're trying to do is change our minds and our hearts. In other words, just reminding you to not relying on physical weapons... to not be "conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of our minds. That we may prove what the will of God is, what is good and acceptable and perfect." (Romans 12:2)
