    Im currently 17 years old and im thinking about joining the reservist as an infantry. the problem is that its a 2 and a half hour drive to my training camp and my parents just don't have that kind of time.

    Will there be a military bus that picks up new recruits and drive to that location just like in school?

    Why infantry? And if you're in the US, then I guarantee your recruiter would do that for you. My recruiter drove me about 2 hours away to the processing station.
