Mindset tip

    Many will advise you to find something to do when you're battling an urge, so you can get your mind on other things.

    This is a very practical tip, but only if you have the right mindset. For instance, if you decide to clean your living space, you're not doing it "to get your mind off porn". You're doing it because it has to get done.

    If you decide to go to the gym, you're not doing it do avoid porn, you're doing it because regular excercise is healthy.

    If you decide to hang out with friends, go out, meet new people, etc., you're not doing it to stop yourself from choking the chicken at the computer, you're doing it because having regular social contact is part of what brings you fulfillment in your life.

    Remember, you're thoughts will ultimately dictate what your mindset will be. Even if it isn't always easy to gain the right mindset, know that it's possible for everyone, EVERYONE, to have it. Sometimes, just knowing will be motivation enough. Other times, it just takes a little patience. Either way, you will gain that mindset if you want it bad enough.

    Thats great advise, the thing is to focus on happy healthy things, not focus on ways to avoid porn.

    Your focus should be on you.

    I usually don't gap if I really love myself and am happy with myself.. Mostly.. I don't care.. When I am in self hate mode..i PM..so for me u r advice fits.. If I love myself and do everything to enrich nourish me.. I won't PM..

    I really wish you the best. And truly focus on your happiness, if you are feeling bad or unhappy, instead of punishing yourself with PMO, go do something for you, even get an ice cream, simple pleasures of life!
