Does anybody else feel like this lockdown even when surrounded by people is making you feel lonely. I honestly miss eye contact, smiling faces, expressions, etc. Even something as simple as a smile from Kathy the cashier or watching a child’s face light up from a toy. For those trying to self improve and break that anxiety caused by porn, well now you cannot fully work on that. You can’t read that girls facial expressions or get close to others to read their body language. It’s lonely.
Yes, yes, yes and yes! I have been searching on google for the same thing, and it seems pretty common for increased feelings of loneliness. When you say surrounded by people, do you mean people you know well, or just like strangers? I miss smiles as well, however I do notice people still smile, and sometimes you can tell they are smiling by their eyes or tone of their voice. It is frustrating it's difficult to work on self improvement, but pandemics aren't forever, and we will hopefully come out a better than someone who is watching porn every day for hours. I know it isn't the same but there are apps out there were you can speak to strangers online - text or phone calls.
It's lonely but there's nothing I can do. So I'm just trying to adapt and not give in to thoughts of sorrow, it will not help me in any way so I don't think about that or try to think logically.
I feel sorry for those little babies looking around at people in masks, never able to see other people faces, smiles. How will it affect them in the future?
I sometimes don't put glasses on to not see fog, but also to not see other ppl. Its of good use when its hot and all those half naked chicks are all around.
If you are seeing fog, you aren't wearing your mask correctly and are at risk. I recommend looking up a tutorial.
Well, I'm feeling lonely for years and I AM lonely actually. There is not lockdown right now but even when it was, it played a minor role in my loneliness feeling.
