Monk mode Day 5

    Feeling good. I swear every day on monk mode I become more and more sensitive to the world and start to feel more and more motivation every day. I feel like the lack of stimulation in my life is really pushing me to do the things I need to get done.

    Advice/Realisations:
    On top of monk-mode a couple pointers for people who want to increase productivity. Take so much action it overwhelms the thinking mind. We often spend a lot of time thinking about what we are going to do and planning ahead feeling like we need the security of knowing what is going to happen and how it all benefit us. But in reality, that habit of overthinking is keeping us from accomplishing the things that we need to accomplish. Real action lives on another paradigm. You literally have to sacrifice your identity and past way of thinking to accommodate a more realistic paradigm; which is that if you do the thing you will have the power. Whatever you need to do, just do it. And deal with the consequences later. Do this over and over and over. Until your brain starts to create the neural pathways that make it easier and easier. That is a scary thought for some including myself but when you have been living according to a false way of thinking, switching to a more truthful and productive mode of living like that is not going to comfortable and is going to require you to DIE. What I mean is to sacrifice yourself - who think you are.

    Right now is there something you need to be doing? Do it NOW. before you have the opportunity to think about it. That's how you need to start living in order to get shit done.

    Anyway day 5 and I thought yesterday would be a lot tougher than I expected but monk mode has made NoFap a lot easier, and just like NoFap - you get more time because your not edging or wanking, monk mode works the same. When your not on social media, watching movies, playing games, browsing on the internet etc. You have way more time to take action. My cold showers have improved, I am now starting to step into the shower with the temperature on nearly fully cold - before I used to start with a slightly cold shower and work my way down to freezing showers. My concentration is improving and emotional centeredness. Have more time to meditate through out my day. I always smash out one hour of meditation. I've been reading. Pretty much anything but the usual artificial stimulation we are normally used to. Now I am going to get a job and start adding the gym to my daily habits. Very soon I am going to have the basics of life haha and I'm planning to keep making more and more habits that promote self development and stay away from drugs, alcohol, and any artificial stimulation.
