More than 50 days and still having brain fog, please help!

    50 days on hard mode have passed already and I am still struggling with brain fog, sometimes it gets better and sometimes worse.
    My studies require me to be very focused but I can't and am losing life and getting behind my colleagues,
    I don't know it I am different or what but mediation is not doing me good, I want to know if taking ADHD medications until my brain gets better is OK or not, what are the side effects other than increased list will happen?
    I fear going back to pmo so much already so no much problem with increased lust for me.
     
  2. For some people it can take longer than 50 days. Stick to NoFap.

  5. Brain fog is caused by low dopamine and it can take your body up to approximately 90 days just to bring the brain chemicals to homeostasis. I suffer from severe brain fog myself. I used to masturbate every SINGLE day sometimes even twice or thrice and it has taken a toll on my body.

    My body has become weak and my brains chemicals are imbalances.

    You need to be patient and trust your body. If you estimate how many times oi have orgasmed you will come to know 50 days is nothing compared to it. Just don't think about masturbating again and trust your body! Your brain fog will go. Also include healthy lifestyle habits and be sure to drink enough water to keep hydrated.

    No one, but 90 days is the talk around here, im not talking about my own experience the fact that i still have brain fog sucks, but i read it on yourbrainonporn and plenty of websites, and the other thing is we all were addicted to PMO for atleast 5 to 20 years i don't think 50 days will do the job

    I feel like adding in an energy outlet and getting things circulating a bit could help a lot. Like exercise of some kind. Even make sure youre eating well and getting your vitamins, these simple self care things can really help :)

    My answer is that you have to change more things in your life, not just abstaining, in order to escape brain fog. Try to mix NoFap with another activity, like going to the gym (or simply exercise at home, daily walks etc.), meditating, dissolve stress etc. Only found NoFap may not be enough for you to escape brain fog. It's different with everyone.
