Morning Glory (=drama) question

    Question:
-Most of my relapse cycles happen/start in the morning literally destroying the rest of my day+night. I've tried alarm clocks, reminders on the phone (I don't have a PC/laptop) but nothing worked in the long run.
I don't even need to visit a site ( I have plenty of images written on my brain drive to recall when the urge comes).
When you wake up, your mind is still sleeping and defenceless and you're not fully aware. So "automatic pilot" drives you towards relapsing is much more easy to start rather than the rest of the day.
After relapsing my mind is close to useless, blurred without being able to concetrate and feel tired all day.
Occasionally resulting in more resets later and failing myself in numerous tasks and social events. Even things I wanted to do for alerting my state of mind like meditation feel like they to wait until I "gather" some energy.
I've destroyed many relationships and opportunities in my life due to this.
Any ideas (or insights form your own experience) how to be prepared so I can start my day clean?

  2. Testosterone higher early in the day. Use it for a good thing and workout instead of lying there beating off.

In before, I usually relapsed in the morning as well..

In my case, i sleep early so still have time to exercise in the morning..
I wake up early, early enough to exercise then prepare to go to training.

I have had this problem when I was struggling with masturbation. I feel when somebody hasn't planned the next day in advance, that's when the chances of relapsing increase. So, plan well in advance, every day without fail. Also find an accountability partner or someone who can accompany you in the morning. You can ask any of your friends to join a gym or run with you in the morning. That would be a good thing to do.

I suck at mornings too. I wake up and brain just goes durrrr for a while until it sorts itself out. I can have all the good intentions in the world, but they count for nothing while I'm still half asleep.

Maybe set a timetable with an accountability partner to text/call me at certain hours so I can have some kind of interaction to disrupt the automatic process...? Could be an idea

I've just realized how fucked up I am..
I had an assignment when I was sober it would be piece of cake and cancelled it...
    It's impossible to focus.
    And be productive
I feel like the slave around me close upon me and some sort of dizzyness and sickness inside my head.
Too much of nothing suddenly prohibits me from doing something...
And I hear some kind of buzz in my ears

Of course the hangover and the complete lack of sleep helped the previous days but that much... ?

A good day starts with a good read.

Have something to do during the morning everyday, it helps alot. A to-do list always help. Also have you tried masturbating by only focusing in yourself? It's may not solve the problem, but it's a better solution in the short run.
Being able to stick with it will improve willpower and isolate one of the variables.

    Good luck friend

Your defenseless mind is NOT what is making you relapse. Your conscious decisions are what are making you relapse. You are fully aware of your actions. Lets take responsibility for ourselves here.

If this is a bad habit of morning relapse, you must reprogram a new habit into your morning routine. Instead of waking up and immediately relapsing, you need to replace that activity with a new one. Do it everyday. weather it be meditation, a jog around the block, a cold shower ( personal favorite ) do that IMMEDIATELY when you wake up.

Yeah, the simple thing to do is when you wake up, get up. I do not mean when you come round, get up eventually. No, as soon as you start becoming conscious - get up! If you do this you will never masturbate and/or watch porn in bed again.
