Movies/Shows/Books/Music recommendations or suggestions

Hi. I really wanted to search for movies, tv shows or books that I can safely watch or read without being triggered by anything. I will list every one that I found already and maybe you can add your own suggestions for me. Thanks!

For now, it's better for me to focus on things that exclude these three things:
  • Romance
  • Sex
  • Nudity
So I try to find movies/shows or books with as little romance or sex in it as possible because that's my two addictions and I really have to try to focus on other things. I've found some of these on another forum about asexuals who also wanted the same thing but not for the same reasons, obviously. Anyway, here are the suggestions. Tell me if any of them have more romance or sex in it because some I have seen a long time ago so I don't really remember and some I haven't seen.

Movies:
  • Star Wars (+ shows)
  • Star Trek (+ shows)
  • The Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit
  • Harry Potter
  • Marvel or DC (+ shows) (maybe some romance but not much, I think)
  • Inception
  • Matrix
  • The Wizard of Oz (I love that movie)
  • Indiana Jones
  • Alien
  • Planet of the Apes
  • The Pianist (One of my favorites)
  • The Green Mile (same)
  • Horror movies
  • Disney movies or other animated movies (even though I think love is a strong theme in them?)
  • Jurassic Park
Tv Shows:
  • Sherlock
  • Breaking Bad (can't remember if there are sex scenes or not)
  • Criminal Minds (one of my favorites)
  • 24 (same)
  • Prison Break (same again)
  • Lost
  • The Blacklist
  • The Walking Dead
  • Mr. Robot
  • Person of Interest
  • Fringe
  • The Mentalist
  • Elementary
  • The Good Place
  • Lost in Space
  • Stargate
  • Star Trek
  • Merlin
  • Stranger Things (some romance but I don't think it's that bad)
  • Supernatural (even though one of the characters talks too much about P and it bothers me a little but it's one of my favorites)
  • Dexter (maybe there are some sex scenes but don't remember it either)
  • Or basically every crime show…
  • I don’t know much about anime, so maybe you can suggest some for me…
Books:
  • The Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit
  • Harry Potter
  • The Life of PI
  • All The Light We Cannot See
  • The Book Thief
  • A Series of Unfortunate Events
  • The Chronicles of Narnia
  • The Road
  • Lord of the Flies
  • The Wonderful Wizard of Oz
  • The Catcher in the Rye
  • The Secret Garden (I loved the movie)
  • The Alchemist (favorite)
  • The Little Prince
  • ...
That's it, for now. What do you think? Have you got any other ideas? Thank you!

The borne series, Mama(horror), Gladiator, the straight story, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Royal Tenenbaums, Up (animation), The life of a pie, The Martian, Green Zone, We bought a zoo, Gravity, Sully, The Post, Cast Away, Forrest Gump and The Shawshank Redemption (One Scene), Interstellar, Dunkirk, Argo, The million dollar baby, The Prestige, The hurt locker, Moneyball, Ad astra, Schindlers list, E.T., Home alone, Artificial Intelligence, the pianist, Taken, night at the Museum, The Chronicles or Narnia, Old black and white most have good romance and good for viewing but no nudity. I remember To Kill A Mockingbird, 12 Angry Men, It's a wonderful life etc. All of the movies of the list also.

These are the movies with the least sex and romance that I can remember (but there are action and violence). If you can't watch them then forget about watching movies, only watch animations and cartoons. Although it's from my own perspective, I can't take any blame if you get relapses watching these ha ha.. So watch them at your own risk.

Wow. Thank you. That's a lot. And I don't mind action and violence. It's just the other things that I don't want. Thank you!

My list on Netflix:
Movies:
- Secret Life of Walter Mitty

TV series:
- Lupin (crime)
- Sweet Tooth (sci-fy) - kinda vibe of Stranger Things (young characters, engaging)
- Snowpiercer (sci-fy, thriller, brutal scenes but I don't recall any nudity)
- The Umbrella Academy (sci fy)
- One Piece (based on the anime / manga)
- Lockwood and Co (based on a novel series, fantasy about ghostbusters, young characters)
- Berlin (crime)

Most of these are free from nudity, but all of them include some romance.

The Boys Season 4 on amc plus has been receiving rave reviews from both critics and fans alike. With its gripping storyline, complex characters, and intense action sequences, it's no surprise that viewers are thoroughly enjoying the latest installment of this popular series. The writing continues to be sharp and engaging, keeping audiences on the edge of their seats with each episode. Additionally, the talented cast delivers standout performances, bringing depth and authenticity to their respective roles.

I searched for anime or mangas to watch/read with no romance or sex and that's what I found. Can you tell me if that's true and if you have other suggestions. I really don't know a lot about it. I only watched Dragon Ball Z when I was young, lol. Maybe some others that I really didn't know were anime because I didn't know anything about it then. For me they were just regular cartoons.

So here are the "safe ones" but as I'm not sure, can you tell me if you have watched it or read it? Thanks!
  • Death Note
  • Hunter X Hunter
  • Fullmetal Alchemist
  • One Piece
  • Attack on Titan
  • Demon Slayer
I don't know about the other known anime or mangas like maybe Naruto or My Hero Academia maybe.

I've watched them, except for the last one, all but I got stuck at some episodes. Attack on Titan was very brutal and I didn't enjoy it but it's all the rage. Hunter X Hunter was nice and engaging. One Piece is a never ending saga. I'd add Naruto, Bleach, Soul Eater, Helsing.

But I haven't watched any anime for several years.
