AC81 seems very hostile, not just here but in other threads he's posted in as well. It's particularly disheartening to see that his rudeness has apparently caused someone to leave the site. I think he's just looking for a reaction, so you aught not to give it to him.

I've seen Shame, it's an incredible movie and can be really eye-opening for people who are new to the concept of porn addiction. It's one of the first movies that really addresses porn as an addiction, which is important since alot of people nowadays are still ignorant to the fact that porn can be cripplingly addictive and morally wrong.

AC81 seems like he's either a troll or a complete asshole. There was nothing wrong with what Jason2 said. Some people are capable of watching Shame without relapsing from the nude/porn scenes, sure. But alot of us are here because we have porn addictions, and the definition of an addiction is to be enslaved to a behaviour or substance and therefore lack control over our actions.

Well obviously it's their problem, if someone is likely to PMO after seeing attractive naked bodies and the sounds of porn in the movie, then they should avoid watching it until they're more in control of their behaviour.. Despite all that I agree with what you said, "SHAME is a wonderful movie that helped many people to understand the mechanic behind their addictions." For people who are able to control themselves and not relapse from seeing nudity etc, they should absolutely watch it because it will give them a better understanding of how porn addiction works - and the acting is incredible!

 

what about Thanks for Sharing? there is some dangerous scenes in it, but i found it very useful. it was good to see how they fighting the problem of sex addiction...

Off topic don jon was a great movie and I think I will check your selection. Don jon I felt showed how porn isn't just porn its just the fact that your looking for something for you and don't really care what happens to the other person and how he was able to accept that and scarlets character could not and he found love in an older more mature woman who could understand it. Great movie are a few nudie scenes but just look away I guess or wait till day 90.
