Muscle gain with nofap

    Hello all, my name is Brandon, I'm 6'3 250 23 years old pounds and work out. I have seen people say they actually bulit more muscle. That is kind of what why I want to do this.

    Also yeah I'm am a little addicted I have to fap everyday or twice a day. But I take cold showers and watch myself. Bodybuliding is my life and I am grateful for it. But If I actually gain muscle by more than one person here then I will be a NoFap brother.

    Honestly I am always mad or very ticked off or the opposite really. I pretty much look like a man like you see me you will see me as a man not even a young adult really. I have a beard Viking but not terrorist big but enough.

    But yeah someone please tell me and I know a lot of you don't care for it or wish I did NoFap for other reasons. Well there is always something that pushes us to something that others don't see. Please respect my anwser and hopefully I can learn more other just muscle gains. Maybe like injuries, deeper voices all these theory everyone says and claims. Thanks for your time!

There is increase in testosterone levels when we practice semen retention (stopping porn and even masturbation alone won't do it tho if you still ejaculate during sex, you need to do complete semen retention; full Hard Mode). Research have shown that your normal testosterone can increase up to 150%. That's almost triple of what you would normally have! All tho research have also shown that this increase is too small to noticeably impact muscle growth. To give you comparison - bodybuilders who are on testosterone replacement therapy report that for them to see good results in muscle increase they need to inject minimum 500mg of a good quality testosterone a week. And some people report that for them it's even 1000mg a week. Young, healthy and sexually active male produce maximum of 50mg of testosterone a week. So it's minimum of 900% increase that you would need to see any significant increase in muscle growth. As you can see 150% increase that nofap could create is not nearly enough to replicate anything nearly similar to results of bodybuilders who inject steroids.

    All those people who report that it made their muscles bigger due to increased testosterone is doing some wishful thinking - placebo. Not saying that nofap does not help, it does. But not through hormones directly. It's simply that people who are not fapping have more motivation to exercise and more energy in gym. So they exercise harder and more consistent, which makes for better results. That's all. Because 150% increase (combined with other positive hormone changes such as more dopomine) would give you other benefits - more energy, less procrastination, more motivation, more aggressiveness, confidence and natural dominance, etc. And of course obviously just better health in general.

    Wow an actual anwser haven't seen any of this especially at Bodybuliding com feels good man really does. I'd rep you or something if there is one for sure or something.

    I appreciate the hard truth and honestly I wouldn't care about sex or women. Honestly, women today turn me off period, they are just too fake and stupid with their decisions than ever before and they have no respect or morals for themselves.

    Don't worry it won't happen period.

    Sooo another question, what if I do NoFap for 400 days, there has to be something in for it right? Especially if I take cold showers which is all I do is take cold showers no hot showers at all.

  4. ^ While there is no evidence or reason that NoFap should increase muscle growth directly (even the testosterone boosting effects seem to be temporary peaks rather than longer term increases based on the limited studies we have available) - I think there is another component that goes unaddressed:

    If you work harder in the gym, you will increase growth stimulus (up to a certain maximum point anyway). So if you have more energy, feel better, have more strength, and push harder - then you'll be making slightly faster strength and muscle gains than someone who isn't able to push quite as hard.

    In that sense, I could definitely see NoFap helping, and constant PMO having the opposite effect since it saps you of energy and motivation and will likely lead to a lot more subpar workouts. However it's not going to be a huge difference or anything, we're just talking a higher chance of progressing at the fastest rate you can. If your motivation and work ethic were already super high, then there might not be a difference whether you do NoFap or not - but if PMO was having any effect on your energy in the gym, then it certainly could.

    Hmmm I see, well yeah first day now curious what will happen, I read this only works for the people who have problems to begin with or just low Tcells something like that.

    But hey I would still enjoy that extra 150% testosterone boost though. So how much is cold showers then?

    And I workout hard already, I workout for three hours in the gym and made some noticeable gains especially my weight, when I started, I was 160 pounds, now I'm 250 pounds at like what 14%. When I cut down to 230 or 220 then I get very lean like 8 or 7% but I'm 6'3 though so it is kind of different with us tall guys. I am aiming to be 240 and 7%.

    And will do ANYTHING natural to get there.

    Another question please, what exactly stops Testosterone after a while? Thanks again, really enjoying these chats!

    Well for me it makes my muscles grow 2-3x faster.During my fapping times i would gain like 3 kg of muscle every 3 months.But now I gained about 3 kg of muscle in single month.I amazed by it!Also people say that testosterone drops in week 2.Which is not right.It gets absorbed into muscle cells into androgen receptors.Which means that your muscles use that excess testosterone to build muscle.Try it for yourself but you need to go full retention bro otherwise it will not work.

    you did not gain 3 lbs of muscle in a single month let alone 3 kg. Buddy. If you really believe you gained nearly 10 lbs of muscle on one month you’re insane. You most definitely gained 8 lbs of fat and water and 1lb of muscle if you’re lucky

    You tried to make that all sound very smart and professional, but anybody who actually knows anything about this subject knows you were off about every fact you stated. You can take way less than 500mg a week and get results. And you rly stated that some people need up to a full gram of test? NoFap has benefits but there’s no studies that proves it changes your test levels. Plz stop spreading false information. I could keep going on and on abojt how wrong you are in this whole subject but I don’t have the care.do more research, legitiment research, and stop being stupid

    Additionally, the way you are treating perfect strangers online is completely uncalled for.

    If you are asking if this will be like doing steroids the short answer is no. However, when you do nofap your hormones and neurotransmitters will come into balance. If you are masturbating to porn once or twice a day, chances are you are depleting yourself of dopamine and testosterone. If that's the case then you are definitely not optimizing your recovery. In order to recover properly from heavy lifting or any vigorous exercise, you need to have everything in balance. NoFap is a great way to do that. Happy lifting :)

    There is no scientific evidence that semen retention leads to increased muscle growth. The benefits of NoFap are still there nonetheless. Let me put it differently, the problems of being "addicted" are still there. Brain fog, not being (feeling) in control, feeling like a simp, etc.
