Muscolar Stiffness?

  1. I had always Stiffness to my Neck, probably caused by PC and work but since I quit fap i had a lot of muscolar tension in legs and arms. Is this related? How many of you had this?

    1. Regular exercise, particularly stretches and aerobics.
    2. Warm showers if the issue does not subside easily.
    3. If you get cramps, make sure to include vitamins, potassium and calcium supplements into your diet, as appropriate for your age.

    See a doctor if the issue persists or your condition worsens. Use supplements only after consulting a clinician. Do not engage in strenuous exercise for long periods of time.
     
  5. Hi, i have do the exercices, they worked as well for now and i will repeat them day by day. Probably the dopamine was relaxing the rest of my body and suppressing my body request, and now i quit fap my body is asking to help him. This is probable? Anyway thanks again both.

    I actually seen a specialized doctor that put ozone in my neck and help it to relax, but it will never work alone.

  6. Tension is the neck is typical of stress and anxiety. If you cut out one of the only channels you had to release tension (PMO) it's normal to have more stiffness. However, it could also be due to extended bad positioning when you were PMOing (for example I used to PMO lying down on the side in my bed. It messed up my neck big time and my spine also).

    To release the tension:

    1. Back and shoulder exercises (shrugs). But exercise in general.
    2. Stretching neck.
    3. Massages (self or by a physiotherapist).
    4. Go see a chiropractor and/or a physiotherapist.
    5. Meditation and breathing exercises (help focus on yourself, spot and release physical tensions)
    6. Yoga.
    7. Drink a lot of water (like 2-3 liters a day)
    8. Nutrition: plenty of vegetables.
    9. Sleep: at least 8 hours of sleep.
    10. Take sauna bath.
    11. Make sure your set up at work or at school is correct (height of desk, height of chair, height od computer screen) to ensure good posture.

    I too have been fighting neck pain since beginning my 12 step SA group and nofap. I'm glad to know it maybe related and as such have hope to find a fix.
