Music, social media, phone, texting, help.

    I heard listening to music alot can release dopamaine, which can slow down the reboot, so i stopped. Same with social media. But i found that without music an using my phone makes me so bored, especially on rainy days and i literally have no choice but to nap. People say social media will cause a relapse but i feel the opposite, when im not using my phone i get bored and then want to relapse. In debating whethe to download social media again and texting people too and litening to music sometime. But i feel like its almost relapsing to do tht sense i feel like im cheating my reboot. I was thinking to use it all for a little and then slowly quit it all when im farther in on a streak. Dont know what to do. Help. Will this slow my reboot using this stuff? What about just getting some girls numbers that i know, or even guy friends an texting them? Or any of the stuff i mentioned. Is it okay?

    I find that this information is quite useful ^. It doesn't deal with sex, but mostly uses food to illustrate how dopamine works. Just bear in mind that the rewards we feel from anything to do with sex is much greater than anything else. :rolleyes:

    So, you are right, music will release dopamine. But this will not slow down your reboot because it is not related to sex. The reason some limit or totally avoid social media is they find that it triggers their craving for something more revealing :eek: (compared to sexy profile pics for example). I do not think what you are talking about will slow down your reboot at all. I don't think texting is an issue - as long as you draw a line and don't get involved in sexting or dirty sexual talking. Alright?

    Bro you are right. When i listen to music (EDM, trap, rap, trance, house) i feel (sometimes) a bit tired. But when i workout (pull ups, push ups, dips) i when i have background music it give me a more energy and motivation do more reps. I will try today right now without music and I will update this comment if something if work in positively way
