How can you be content on the "inside" as you say without even understanding the purpose of your existence? Will you feel "inner peace" as you claim when you are on the verge of dying? Will you not doubt what is to become of you? You claim inner peace is from nurturing yourself. However, inner peace stems from knowing, as knowing comes from learning and seeking the truth. You can't have your "inner peace", satisfaction and contentment until you understand who you are, for what purpose you were created and what is to become of you. Knowledge is found in books and from teachers. You don't suddenly know something. You may gain some better understand of knowledge you previously had acquired through reflecting and pondering, but you don't simply learn something from nothing. You need to know, to gain that higher sense of self, peace and contentment, which is actually long-lasting and genuine, and not a false "inner peace" that you delude yourself of having or that which will desert you in your time of need. I ask you, will you retain that same "inner peace" when you are dying? You think you will not doubt what is to come? Will you just die and become dust and that will be the end of you? Or is there something more?

I think u missed Islam. Quran is the book of God which is an open miracle in this world. God has taken the responsibility of this book. 1400 years had been passed and there is no change in this book. There is no mistake in this book and people memorized this book with vowels also. Number of people who had memorized quran is in millions. Unlike other religion in Islam u don't have to give a single penny to became Muslim or when your loving one die. This book makes a connection between God and human. I highly recommend u to read it before becoming athiest.

You don't need to "understand" everything. In fact, "understanding" even increases the distance to your inner core.

This "core" is what I call "true love" or faith, and it is in fact an eternal part of the universe.
The universe is eternal. It never began, it never ends. It only permanently changes and rebuilds itself, thats its nature.

Every living being is a part of the universe. And therefore, you carry an inner core with you which is eternal.
If you feel it and if you rely on it, then you will have strong faith and you will do everything, because you have no fear.
In fact, if you die, then your core melts back into the universe, from where new life will be born again.

And yes, at times, I am very content. These are the moments where I am at "the core".
And in these moments, when I would die , then I would have a good feeling, like "it was good".

Okay so you are correct, and the billions of people following a religion/book are incorrect? What logical sense this makes!

I also like how you changed the topic once I stated that Muhammad was an illiterate.

The truth is that if you had opened the Quran and read it you would find things in there that, even IF we assumed (for argument's sake) that Muhammad wrote it (i.e. the Quran), it would still be a miracle. The Quran states within it that there is a barrier between the seas, it describes the stages of embryology, it reveals the that mountains are pegs, it and countless other miracles (and there are many more than what I can instantly recall ). Now if we suppose that Muhammad wrote the Quran, as you claim, and as I deny, then I ask you: how did Muhammad, a man from the 6th and 7th century know these things (seas, mountain geology, embryology, etc.) which have only come to be proven true in the modern day? What was his source of knowledge? If the Quran wasn't changed (and we know that the Quran is not changed, and historian of all faiths agree on this) then the big question is: how did he know??? I know you are skeptical of what I say, but I ask you only that you open the Quran, find what I've mentioned and other things, and prove them wrong. Prove it. Prove to me that my religion is wrong and that so many that over a billion others are deluded.

Also recent big bang theory is mentioned in Quran.
Yet, astonishingly well before telescopes were even invented and well before Hubble published his Law, Prophet Muhammad used to recite a verse of the Quran to his companions that ultimately stated that the universe is expanding.

[Quran 21.30] Do not those who disbelieve see that the heavens and the Earth were meshed together then We ripped them apart? And then We made of water everything living? Would they still not believe?

“And the heaven We created with might, and indeed We are (its) expander.” (Quran 51:47)

You know what we have today is made up of religion?

Ie laws are from religion example is 10 commandments

Pork is forbidden for the Abrahamic religions because the animal that pork is from eats it's own excrement and this can Cause diseases. However scientists believe if you cook pork to a certain temperature it kills all bacteria and there will be no chance of getting a disease.

If you read recent news (in the last week or so) new cases of illnesses have been discovered due to pork consumption.

I am not going to go into a religious debate but that was a simple fact i wanted to give. I shall give you one more...which you could relate to yourself...

IN Islam we're told Satan whispers you to do wrong things. Those of us that have been PMOing the a long time how many times have we just thought "ah just do it once more" or "come on this is you, you're a dirty git you need to blow the load"

I don't understand @SnowWhite. This is a thread for Muslims and you come on here telling them to throw away their books, drop out, think for themselves and go your own way. Why? This is not a religious debating forum. Please, just let them be.

I did read all you wrote. Do you really require that I quote it all in full. What possible purpose could that serve?
